I cried as I watched from the floor as the officers handcuffing HIM. HE yelled out in protest before cussing at my body that lay trembling on the floor. Michael jumped forward as soon as HE was shoved into the police car. Michael pulled me into his chest despite the blood that would no doubt ruin his top. The ambulance came soon after and I was pulled away from Michael's warmth and instead laid on a stretcher. Michael came with me to the hospital.
