The next morning I went on a scout mission to find other people, but they were all gone save for one Caitlin. How she survived will be a mystery to me forever, but I am glad she survived. I found here on the roof of her school ita. I brought her back to the school that the survivors and I set up hq. Once I had dropped her off I knew we would need weapons and lots of them. Two hours later I was at my house gathering two suits of titanium metal per person along with those each person also got 2 swords, 6 pistols, 6 machine guns, a bazooka and 10 lbs of c-4. with these things gathered together in a semi truck I headed back to hq. once there I handed out the weapons.
"Now" I said in a loud and harsh tone of voice. "I need to figure out what the hell those things that attacked us were and see if I can kill one and take a sample of it. Stay on the roof and you will be fine, if I am not back I an hour assume that I am dead and that Caitlin is now in charge." With those words it took off to try and track down a worm. Finding one was not hard their bio signatures were of the charts, however killing one was a very different story after a battle that lasted about half an hour I had killed one. and even though my metal parts were 100% charged my rocket boots failed leaving me flight less without my suit working either I had the same materials as everyone else. I began the long trip back to hq dragging  the body of the worm with me. When the hour was about up I made it back. I was flooded with questions like "what to you so long" or "how old was that thing" or " why the harsh tone when you were leaving". "ENOUGH". I shouted because I was quite annoyed with everyone. " I will answer your questions later just leave me to my work" I opened the door to enter the school dragged the worm in behind me, closed the door and found the closest lab on the second floor.
