Once alex disappeared into the school everyone started putting the armor he gave us on. I however was wondering what the hell was going on he has never freaked out like that. I decided that I was going to check on him. Following the trail of blood left by the worm I managed to track him down to the biggest lab in the school. I knocked on the door. "WHAT". was the reply I got. "It is me Caitlin" I said. "Come in sexy". I blushed when he called me that I do love it when he calls me that. as I entered the room I said " what is wrong alex". "My powers no longer work I am now useless to all of you". "no you are not" "YES I AM ALL MY POWERS NO LONGER WORK AND WITHOUT THEM I CANNOT STUDY THE WORM CORRECTLY" he shouted at me. I shrunk back from him he saw my reaction and said "I am sorry for yelling at you it is just that I am upset that I was not able to save any one else". " hey Alex it is ok you did the best you could, do you want me to tell you how I survived till you reached me". "yes" he replied. "ok it went like this. after the adults disappeared and the worms attacked I ran to the roof to try and find cover I was the only one who did. all my friends besides you was killed". I started sobbing loudly."hey hey it is ok sexy you are safe now on my arms." he said as he tried or calm me down. "thanks alex I fell a little better now-" before I could finish talking he kissed me with all the passion he had. almost immediately after he kissed me we had all our clothes off. I gasped as he entered me. "oh oh oh don't stop alex." "oh Alex" oh Alex" "OH ALEX". two hours later we emerged through the door to the roof of the school in full armor hand in hand. "ooh guess who was all alone for close to three hours." joked Selene. We flipped her off at the exact same time. all of us burst out laughing. after about five minutes of laughing alex said that he needed to talk to all of us. " I have some good news and some bad news" he started." which do you want first." we all decided that we wanted the bad news first. "ok" he said. "the bad news is that I will be leaving tomorrow and will not be back for a good 4 to 5 weeks. the good news is that the worms are easy to kill all you have to do is shoot them in the mouth." After that we went to bed. that next morning Alex was not around, and there was a note on where he normally sleeps stating that I was leader and that he loves me and wishes us all luck. I just hope we can survive without him.
