"People piss you off, some you say you love. Those you call a friend."

"So, in conclusion, the most accepted theory is that the planets in our solar system are made up of tiny dust particles all gradually merging together over millions of years. And with that, I finish today's lecture. Make sure to study and do your assignment on the countless theories of the world's creation."

As my lecturer dismissed us, the hustle and bustle began. I hadn't quite gotten used to the sheer amount of people around me despite being two months in. It was if the whole world was crammed into one lecture theatre and every single one of those wished to be the first to leave. To say it was hectic would be a huge understatement.

Eventually, I managed to vacate the room and breathe. I'd never done well with crowds but I had three years of this so it was about time I got used to it.

I decided that I needed to get a head start on my assignment and went straight to the campus library. It was a huge building with books on every subject imaginable. You could sit there for a decade and you wouldn't have scratched the surface of the hoard of knowledge stashed away within its walls. It was truly magnificent.

The building calmed me. It's quiet atmosphere, the old Victorian style structures (even if it was just built in the style). I felt as if I was in my own world where time would stop and I was the only person who could switch it back on.

My finger glanced along the shelves, searching for the right book to use. A title stood out to me "The Creation of Planets and Stars". Rather boring title if I do say so myself, but it got to the point and I knew that it was what I needed. I also made my way over to the ancient Greek section and the religion and mythology section, grabbing everything I could find on possible theories of our creation.

I took them to a table and sat down with it before pulling out my laptop. I had to write at least 6,000 words, this was sure going to be a challenge.

My fingers flicked through the pages of the books, trying to find the perfects nuggets of information to add into my essay. Scientific discoveries, test results, old Greek theories, heck, even Genesis. They all compiled into writing before me. They way man had evolved from believing in the world being made in seven days by an old man in the sky to dust particles being pulled together over millions of years by gravity to form the planets we see in our solar system today was just fascinating.

Words were being added to my page as my fingers graced the keys. I was fully immersed in my work until a certain voice pulled me out.

"Hiya, Y/N." I recognised the whispered voice immediately and turned to face the man I knew as my neighbour.

"Hey, Suga." I smiled before continuing to write down everything that came to my head.

"I'm sorry if I bothered you."

"No, no, no, it's fine, I've finished now anyway." I wrote three last words onto my Word document before saving it, sending it and shutting down my laptop. "I'm all yours."

"Jesus, you write fast. Anyhoo, there's this party that's going on tonight, I was wondering if maybe you'd like to come with me?" He explained as we made our way out of the library.

"Me? Parties? I don't think that's a good idea." I rubbed the back of my head. Let's just say that I was sheltered in high school...

"Why not?"

"I've never been to one. A proper one anyway, I went to birthday parties when I was a little kid but never to one with alcohol and the like. I wouldn't know what to do." I explained. I would like to spend more time with Sugawara but I didn't want to make a fool of myself.

"I'll guide you through it. Stick with me and all shall turn out okay." He gave me the widest smile I had ever seen. I couldn't help but smile back, he had the most infectious smile I had ever come across in my lifetime. One that made me feel at ease within a split second.

"Sure. I'll put on something nice." He seemed very happy that I was coming with him.

"I'll come and pick you up at seven if that's okay."

"Sounds good to me."

"Great."

Once I got back to my apartment, I rooted through my cupboards to find the clothes I thought I could wear to a party. Suga had told me that smart-casual was the way to go. I eventually found the perfect outfit and put it on. I inspected myself thoroughly, making sure I looked the part.

I put on some perfume before inspecting myself one last time. I think I looked acceptable, I was getting a little nervous though. It was getting close to seven and I knew that there was no going back. My stressful thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. I went to open it to see Suga standing there.

He was wearing black sleek trousers with a green and white striped short sleeve shirt. He also had a leather jacket draped over his arm and on his feet were a pair of Doc Martens.

"Heya Y/N! You look great!"

"As do you."

"Shall we get going then."

As we walked to the venue and heard the music blaring out of the building, I was glad to have a friend like Suga there, because I would not have been able to survive without.
