when i said your name today, you turned so red i almost got worried.
you were a stuttering mess, looking everywhere around the halls to see if maybe i was talking to someone else. i wasn't. i was talking to you.
i was surprised when you looked me in the eye as i spoke. you didn't look away once, which just showed me how polite you are. even when you were terrified, you gave me your full attention.
i'm positive you noticed how flustered it made me, and i'm glad you didn't point it out. you don't seem like the type to point things out, but that's okay.
i offered to walk you to class, which clearly confused you, but you simply nodded.
you didn't say much to me at all, but it was nice. the silence didn't feel awkward to me. maybe writing these letters help, cause i feel like i know you more than i do.
as we walked, i realized that all i have are baseless conclusions.
i wanted to hold your hand or offer to hold your notes, but it would be weird, right? a guy you've only said "sorry" to holding your hand? it's okay, though, i'm willing to wait.
i want to be your friend first, that was always what i wanted. to give you a friend.
