do you know that there's someone wondering? that someone has you on their mind? you'd probably blush at the thought and wave it away in shameful embarrassment.
i hope you don't, though. i hope you keep the thought lingering so much that when you come back to school you look around for anyone who willingly meets your eyes and smiles, not to be polite, but because they noticed.

i missed the way you timidly tucked invisible hairs behind your ear like a habit. i missed the way you readjust your grip on your notebooks to further hide yourself in ways your large hoodies already do. i missed the way your voice hit my ears with that one, simple word that makes my pulse race unintentionally.
hopefully i see you tomorrow.
