Mia's P.O.V.

I rested my head against the car window. The car that Nolan stole a couple hours ago. It smelled of vannilla and spice and apparently the person had some type of germ phobia because there were wipes, hand sanitizer, and tissues everywhere. They also had business cards and chinese food menus too. Nolan said that we would have to find new cars soon because the police are probably on the lookout for the license plates now and it wouldnt be long before they linked a group of teenagers stealing cars to the same group of teenagers who stole Mia James.

"Are we gonna have to keep stealing cars then?"

"Probably, unless you have any better idea?"

"I just feel like your digging an even deeper hole and you wont be able to get out of it. I can drop the kidnapping charges if needed but these people might not drop the fact that you stole their cars," I said.

"Wait....you would drop the kidnapping charges?"

"I mean it doesnt look like Im exactly devastated that you kidnapped me. Im not crying. I'm not planning my escape. I can just say that I decided to go on a trip and the ropes and shit was just a game we were playing."

"That wouldn't work Mia. They will wonder why you never informed your parents on this or called anyone when you saw the news," Nolan said.

"I'll just figure that out later...I guess."

"Thanks for trying to help but me and the guys are probably going to be in more trouble than you can try and fix," he stated as he swerved into a small diner.

I looked at the diner and then back at Nolan and then the diner again. Emeli, Cory, and Zeke pulled up next to us and they had the same expressions on their faces. Why did we stop?

"We have to make less stops remember?"

"I know but we need to eat and the cars are running out of gas, we need new ones."

"Shouldnt we hide these cars? If they find the cars here, they will be on our trail," Nolan is so confusing sometimes.

"We'll do that later. Right now, I need to eat," He said as he got out and joined the rest. I slowly exited the car and made my way inside.

The diner was small and was painted a bright red. It smelled of cinnamon and only a few people were eating inside, most were sat at the bar watching a baseball game.

We sat at a table in the far corner and already as we sat down, people were giving us wierd looks. I had an uneasy feeling in my stomach. Nolan kept a straight face as a waitress came over and took our drink orders. I tried not to make any eye contact or focus on the other customers who were staring at us rather than the game playing on television.

"You see them all looking at us too right?" Emeli whispered in my ear. I shook my head. What the hell is going on?

Our waitress delivered our drinks and we went on to order our food. I ordered a cheap burger and fries. I didnt want to spend that much money especially becuase I knew Nolan needed it.

When our food arrived, we dug in quickly. The sooner we got out of here, the better.

Nolan quickly paid the bill and we shuffled out. The minute we got towards the door, we heard shouting behind us.

"It's them! I know it!"

"Call the police!"

"Holy Shit!"
