It was early in the morning. It was still pitch black outside and you couldn't hear a bird chirp. I had bags under my eyes and I was so tired that I didn't even complain when Nolan threw me over his shoulder again and trudged out to the car.

His group of friends were already gathered around their black Jeep and they didn't look so happy either. Who would be at like three in the morning?

Nolan seemed completely fine though and it had me wondering what the hell was wrong with him. How could he be energetic when he only got like four hours of sleep?! It was beyond me.

"Okay guys, lets head to Nora's. She already knows we're on our way," Nolan said. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Who was Nora?

Nolan threw me into the red pickup truck before hopping in the driver's seat and speeding off onto the highway. Roads were clear and I slowly drifted off at the soft hum of the car engine.

"About last night....," Nolan disturbed my peace and my face reddened at the remembrance of my little slip up last night in the bed. I didn't mean to straddle him like that! I just didn't want to sleep on that dirty floor.

Nolan smirked at my umcomfortableness. Gosh, curse you Ass Motel!

"It was a mistake. I told you that...," I didnt feel like talking right now. Especially talking to Nolan...my kidnapper.

"Mhm, okay. You must admit, you love being all over me though," He said and winked my way.

Is he serious right now?!

He frickin' kidnapped me! From my own goddamn prom! Took me away from my friends, my boyfriend, my family! He does not get the priviledge to be cheeky with me right now!

"As if I would ever want to be in a situation like that with a fuckin' kidnapper," I spat.

He went silent at that, his jaw locked and his knuckles tightened on the steering wheel. After awhile, he turned on the radio and soft music played. It made my eyes go heavy again. Nolan looked over at me before sighing deeply and moving a hand through his hair. I could tell he was stressed, although I wasn't trying to stress him out in anyway. I had the urge to apologize for my comment, but I kept my mouth shut. He didn't deserve my "sorry".

"Just go to sleep," He murmured a few minutes later and I happily obliged.

Emeli's P.O.V.

"I swear to God, Cory, if you fart one more time! Im beating your ass! This small conpartment of a car can not withstand such a stench!"

"Calm down, Em, you know once he starts, he never stops," Zeak said.

"Yup, pretty much," Cory agreed.

I didn't understand why I even put up with these fools. Although our little group has been together since middle school, committing crimes and busting people's asses, I still doubt our friendship sometimes.

Im pretty sure we would have all clawed eachothers eyes out had it not been for Nolan. He was the leader and he kept us going. We followed all the shit he came up with and most of the time, it worked out....other times, not so much.

I looked out the window as we passed a quiet field. I always loved nature and natural landscapes. I would never tell Zeak, Cory, or Nolan though. They would think I'm some type of pussy to which Im not.

I cant help but think about how I wanna do something with my life though, like work with wildlife or help save forests and such. I feel like Ive practically thrown that all away though, with all the shit me and the guys have done. I've been to juvie five times so far and as of now, me and the guys are pretty much wanted all throughout Canada....and Japan now that I think about it.
