Yes. Spencer's team did know about his wife and kids. They even met them a few times at gatherings but, they didn't hear much about them any other time. The only person who came around their house regularly was David Rossi. The kids called him Papa Rossi.

According to Spencer, he wanted to keep his family as far away from all the evil of his job as he could. He'd occasionally go home and Audrey would ask him why he was so upset. Spencer would tell her how hard the case was and she comfort him as best she could. Then, they'd go to each of their sleeping children's rooms and kiss their foreheads.

Then the two would return to their own bedroom and fall asleep in each other's arms.

Spencer was the first one to wake up in the morning. He rolled his head to the side to see his wife's face, illuminated with light that came straight from the sun. He smiled. Every morning, he woke up and thought about how lucky he was to have such an amazing woman to share the rest of his life with.

His hand rested on his bare chest as he looked up to the ceiling and let out a quiet breath. Then he looked back over and softly reached over and brushed a strand of Audrey's hair behind her ear.

A small smile stretched across her lips and she drew in a slow, deep breath. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and Spencer smiled at the sight of her green eyes. He found it was very rare that she woke up without a smile on her face.

Audrey scooted forward so her chest was pressed against her husband's and he face was centimeters away from his. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and she placed hers around his waist. Morning cuddles were Spencer's favorite part of the day.

He leaned forward and pressed his lips against hers. She let out a hum and Spencer pulled away chuckling. "What?" Audrey asked with a confused smile.

"It's just funny to me that you always do that when I kiss you in the morning." He told her, running his nails across the top of her back, causing her to shiver. "You cold?" He asked with another chuckle.

Audrey giggled before shaking her head. "No. That just feels good." She told him.

After a few minutes of cuddling and showing affection towards each other, Audrey groaned as she pulled away. She stretched out, raising her hands above her head and pushing her legs out as far as they would go. Spencer watched this moment and sat up in the bed. "Joey has a soccer game today. You think you're gonna be there?" Audrey yawned. She adjusted the shirt she was wearing so it covered her butt.

Her husband bit his lip and picked his watch off of his side table. "Uh... as long as we don't get a case, I should be able to ask Hotch." He heard Audrey sigh and he snapped his head over. "What's the matter?"

"It's just, I understand that your job is important but Joey... I mean, you haven't been to one of his games in weeks. He just feels bad." She told him, pulling her hair back away from her face.

Spencer looked at his bed sheets and bit the inside of his cheek. "I know and I feel terrible but, I can't control when I get called away."

Audrey got up from her side of the bed and went around to his. She pulled him up by his hands and into her. "I'm not blaming you, baby. I'm just letting you know what's going on with him, okay?" She asked, running her fingers through his wild hair.

He nodded with a small smile and leaned down to kiss her. They stayed like that for a few seconds and then he pulled away. "I need to get ready for work." He whispered.
