The next morning, Audrey woke up, wrapped in her husband's arms. They'd spent the night cuddled up with each other, talking about the baby's gender and what they were gonna name it. They both knew that they had about nine months to figure it out but, the couple just became so excited.

Neither of them wanted to get up. Audrey didn't feel the best and Spencer wanted to stay in bed all day with his newly pregnant wife. He didn't want to head into work to debrief the last case.

So, as the sun shined through the curtains, Spencer gently dragged his fingernails across the bare skin of Audrey's arm. His cheek was pressed up against her back. His free hand was placed gingerly on her stomach.

She groaned as the alarm on his phone went off. She turned slightly and looked up at him. "Morning." She whispered.

He smiled and brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. "Morning." He laughed quietly. "Hey, remember... You're uh... pregnant?" She smiled and remembered that they had a doctor's appointment when he got home from work.

Audrey giggled. "I may not have an eidetic memory, Spence but I'm pretty sure I'd remember something like that." She told him before patting his chest. "Don't you have to get up, doctor?" She asked playfully.

She knew what that did to him. "Audrey, you're already pregnant." He scoffed before rolling his eyes. "He or she is the size of a poppy seed." He beamed. "The embryo has three layers already - the inner layer or the endoderm will develop into their digestive system, liver, and lungs. The middle layer which is called the mesoderm will be our babies heart, sex organs, bones, kidneys, and muscles. And the ectoderm, the outer layer, will eventually form our baby's nervous system, hair, eyes, and outer layer of skin." His wife laughed quietly and stuffed her head into his chest. She squeezed her arms tightly around him.

"Honey, you've said that same thing to me three times. Is this like... your good luck ritual or something?" Audrey giggled as she squeezed him a little tighter.

The doctor smiled and discarded her previous words. "For someone who just reminded me that I have to get up, you sure are holding on pretty tight."

Audrey groaned before rolling away from him and planting her feet on the ground. Spencer watched as she raised her arms above her head and stretched out. He bit his lip. "I think the fact that you're pregnant turns me on even more."

The woman rolled her eyes and walked towards the closet. "Oh, hey! I forgot to tell you." She realized. Spencer sat up in the bed holding a pillow close to his chest. "My mom called yesterday before... Y'know I took the test and she said she and daddy are coming into town from LA."

Spencer widened his eyes. "Um... okay? Did she say when?" He asked running his hand through his messy hair.

"Tomorrow, actually." Audrey grimaced. She stepped pit of the closet in a large t-shirt and shorts.

"What? But we were supposed to take the kids to the zoo tomorrow. It's Sunday." He told her. "We usually go to the zoo on Sundays when I'm home."

His wife scoffed. "Well, honey I tried to tell her that but she just invited herself and daddy along." She shrugged. "But-but what if we tell them all together?"

"Tell them what?" Spencer asked obnoxiously with a mischievous smirk and a roll of his eyes.

Audrey chucked an empty clothes hanger at him. He ducked and laughed loudly. Once his laughter died down, he got up from the bed and strolled over to her. He dropped to his knees in front of her and pressed his lips against her stomach. "God, I can't believe that we're doing this all over again." Audrey breathed out. She closed her eyes and ran her hands through her hair.
