"What do you mean by that?" Shen Qingqiu asked.
"The Lan disciples have a headband if you haven't noticed, that headband let's the cave know that you are a Lan disciple," Wei Ying explained. "Since we don't have the headband we are bound to get hit."
"Well aren't you a disciple now?" Luo Binghe asked.
"I am, I just don't like wearing it," Wei Ying said, "it's itchy."
Shen Qingqiu rolled his eyes, "Well what do we do now?"
"There's another way out, from the back of the mountain," Wei Ying said. He led the way to a wall and walked straight into it.
Surprisingly, he walked right through it. "Come on! Hurry up!" He yelled from the other side.
Shen Qingqiu was the first to walk outside. Followed by Xie Lian and then Luo Binghe.
Once they were all outside Wei Ying led them back to Cloud Recesses.
They saw a disciple and Wei Ying ran up to him, "Excuse me, do you know where Xichen is?"
"Clan Leader Lan should be with Grandmaster Lan," the man said, "in the main room I believe."
"Thank you," Wei Ying ran away with the others. They went to the main room and knocked, "Xichen! Are you in there?!"
The door opened to Xichen, "A-Xian? What is it?"
"We were attacked by puppets and demons," Wei Ying panted.
Xichen's eyebrows furrowed, "Who was controlling them?"
"Tianlang Jun, Mobei Jun, and Jun Wu," Shen Qingqiu replied. "Two are demons and Jun Wu is a heavenly official."
"Why would a heavenly official be working with demons?" Xichen asked.
"No clue, the point it that we need to get rid of them. They're looking for the Forest Stone," Wei Ying said.
"The Forest Stone?" Xichen asked, "The stone you and Wangji brought back from Lanling?"
"Yes," they all said.
"I'll see to it, you four go and rest up, you seem a bit uneasy," Xichen said sympathetically.
"Thank you," they all bowed before leaving.
"Why was Jun Wu working with them?" Shen Qingqiu asked Xie Lian.
"Honestly, I don't know," Xie Lian sighed, "he does many things for many reasons. You just never know them."
"Do you have any clue why he would do that?" Wei Ying asked.
"None," Xie Lian looked down dejectedly.
"It's fine, we'll figure it out later," Shen Qingqiu said, "for now let's go back to our roo-"
"Wei Ying!"
"Gege!" Wei Ying and Xie Lian looked up to see Hua Cheng and Wangji running towards them.
"Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying exclaimed, he ran up to Wangji and jumped on the man. "You're back!"
Hua Cheng stopped in front of Xie Lian and looked him over, "Are you alright? We heard what happened, at the Cold Pond. Are you hurt anywhere?"
Xie Lian giggled, "I'm fine San Lang, don't worry too much about me."
"Are you sure?" Hua Cheng asked.
"Mhm," Xie Lian nodded, he hugged Hua Cheng softly before pulling away.
Wangji put Wei Ying down, "Alright?"
"I'm fine Lan Zhan," Wei Ying drawled, "you know that nothing can hurt me that bad."
"Okay," Wangji nodded, his eyes still filled with concern.
Wei Ying laughed and pecked his husband's lips, "Now let me go and sleep for a while."
"I should go too," Xie Lian said, "San Lang, come with me. You need sleep too, you look tired."
"Of course Gege," Hua Cheng smiled. The four walked away leaving Shen Qingqiu alone with Luo Binghe.
"Shizun, are you sure you're alright?" Luo Binghe asked carefully.
"I'm fine Binghe," Shen Qingqiu sighed, "we should go rest as well." He put his hands behind his back and walked away calmly.
"Shizun! Wait for me!" Luo Binghe ran behind him and held the hem of Shen Qingqiu's sleeve.
They went to their room and Shen Qingqiu began changing, causing Luo Binghe to get a bit flustered. Luo Binghe turned around and covered his eyes.
"What are you doing?" Shen Qingqiu asked.
"I mustn't look," Luo Binghe mumbled shyly.
"Silly idiot, why can't you? You're my husband now after all," Shen Qingqiu chuckled.
"Shizun deserves privacy," Luo Binghe stated clearly.
Shen Qingqiu laughed softly, "It's fine, you can look if you want. It's not like you haven't seen me before."
Luo Binghe slowly uncovered his eyes and turned around, he saw Shen Qingqiu shirtless and turned a bright red.
"What are you embarrassed for?" Shen Qingqiu teased.
"Please don't tease this disciple," Luo Binghe mumbled.
"Alright," Shen Qingqiu smiled. He continued changing when he heard the door bust open.
Luo Binghe immediately covered Shen Qingqiu with his body and hugged him tightly. He turned his head around, "Who is it?"
"Luo-xiong! You're here too! This is great!" It was Wei Ying, "Lan Zhan has the drinks, get ready to play."
"Play what?" Luo Binghe asked darkly.
"Truth or Dare of course!" Wei Ying stumbled and held himself against the doorway. He staggered inside the room and sat down at the table.
Luo Binghe pushed Shen Qingqiu behind a wall and pet him change before leading him to the table.
Soon enough Hua Cheng, Xie Lian, Lan Zhan, and Jiang Cheng walked in.
"Great! The whole gang is here!" Wei Ying smiled.
"Wei Ying, you're drunk," Wangji sighed.
"It's fine," Wei Ying waved him off and giggled. He turned to the group that was sitting around the table and floor, "Alright, so the rules of this game are easy. We'll ask truth or dare and if you can't do it or answer, you'll have to strip off a piece of your clothes."
"This is absurd," Hua Cheng snapped.
"If you want to leave go ahead," Wei Ying retorted.
HuaCheng huffed and crossed his arms, but stayed in place.
"Great, let's start," Wei Ying looked around the group and stopped at Shen Qingqiu. "Shen-xiong, truth or dare?"
"Truth," Shen Qingqiu replied.
"What is the last dream you had?" Wei Ying asked.
"First of all, it was a nightmare. And second, it was about me drowning," Shen Qingqiu said calmly.
"Okay," Wei Ying said, "your turn."
"Alright. Xie-xiong, truth or dare?" Shen Qingqiu asked.
"Dare," Xie Lian said confidently.
"I'll go easy, I dare you to let Hua-xiong do your hair."
"Alright."
