┊͙˚. • Prologue • ┊͙˚.

The day was very tiring for Ciel, the servants were interrupting Ciel from doing his daily paperwork. Sebastian tried his best to prevent them, Ciel lock himself in his office, he took a seat at his desk. He felt more tired as the days go by and always have this strange feeling in his stomach. He lay his head down, with his arms as a cushion, he slowly drifts away and sleeps

He awakens by the sound of birds chirping in the distances

"Sebastian... Why did you?-" As he open his eye, he met with a patch of grass, the light beaming down on him made him feel warm. He raises himself, he looks around his surroundings. Trees and flowers surrounding him, a small gravel pathway leads him forward towards a light that is high in the sky, it covered by clouds

It was calling him to go forward so he did. He walks along the gravel
'Is this a dream?'
He wonders
'It seems too real to be one'
He continued to walk towards and hears faint singing

The grass and gravel trail begins to be thinner as he continues to walk, the singing gets louder. He left out the woods and the area was surrounded by water, the only way he can leave is by going forward so he went forward

The light gets brighter and brighter and singing gets louder and louder. Ciel listen to it carefully, the singing is melodic, soft yet powerful, he listens to her sadness by the tone of her voice. The path became a hill, a hill leading to the sky, he gets closer to it and...

Something was stopping him, something slimy on his ankle, Ciel looks down to see some oil stops, he turns around, everything was covered in oil, the bird, the water, the grass, the trees!

He panicked, his heart racing, he runs up the hill, reaching for the light but the oil grabs him from behind, dragging him into darkness

The darkness made him feel lonely. Ciel wanders around the darkness and seeing a few flashes of light, almost like...

Stars!

It became peaceful. He felt safe
'Am I in space?'
There were many shades of blue in the darkness along with white stars that shine then everything became bright, he shields his eyes with arms but failed then

He woke up. Back at his office, he pinches himself to make sure, it hurts. He remembers that there's a stranger in his manor. The door knocked
"Come in" He said

Mey Rin opened the door, letting her and the stranger. As soon Ciel met eyes with the stranger, he was in awe. The first word that came into his mind was

Stars!

Sebastian never felt this tired before. It was very unusual, he heard that a stranger is in the manor which he wasn't so happy about. Who knows what will they do, Sebastian already dislike them. It was nighttime and Sebastian is ready to end his day, he lays in bed and waits. Sebastian never slept before, it was a luxury for demons, he was thinking about sleeping after consuming his master's soul but today was different, he was tired and wanted to close his eyes. So he did

The bed felt different. It was hard yet soft and there was a bright shine down on him. Birds were chirping in the distance, he opened his eyes and sit up, he was confused but interested
'Is this a dream?' He wonders
'Can demons even dream?'

He stood up and look around his surroundings, trees and flowers surround him, a small gravel pathway, and a bright light in the sky, covered by the clouds
He sighs
'This is the only way out'

He walks along the gravel pathway, he was still unsure about the new area yet he doesn't feel anything that could harm him. It was peaceful. As he continued to walk, he made it out the woods, the area was surrounded by water, except the path

The path was thin now, it slowly became a hill. There was faint singing in the distances. He's curious about the singing behind the clouds, he listens carefully to her singing. It was sad, melodic yet there was some power in her voice. As he walks up the hill, something was stopping him, he looks down to see something slimy on his ankles

He looks at it with disgust so he pulls away, he turns around to see everything covered in oil. He didn't think much of it so he continued forward. He almost reaches the light, the singing was loud and clear so he went to check and...

Something pulled him from behind. The slimy oil. He uses his strength but the oil was stronger than him. The oil drags him into darkness. Sebastian wanders around darkness to find any escape then he saw a few flashes of light, just like...

Stars!

The darkness began to brighten, there were many shades of blue along with the bright stars. He was in awe, he was never curious about seeing the night sky but he might start stargazing for a while now

Everything became bright and...

He woke up, back in his room. He checked his pocket watch, it was 5'o clock. He hurried his way to start his master's breakfast, giving instructions to the servants. Meanwhile in the afternoon, Finny manage to destroy some of the flowers in the garden, after Sebastian planted several different flower, Mey-Rin and Bardory went to Sebastian, telling him that the stranger awoken

Sebastian wasn't very happy, he was annoyed. As he went to meet the stranger, she was talking to Finny, then she turns around to see Sebastian. When they met eyes, he felt different, like he recognised her before. The first word that came into his mind was...
