"It's quite common in this situation for a patient to feel a kind of... guilt."

"What situation?"

The Accident.

                                                                                       -~-~-

Yangyang didn't go to school for two weeks, didn't talk to anyone. Anxiety bit his mind numb, why was he not wearing his jumper?

Why was there blood on the jumper?

Several times he has combed over his body, searching for any cuts of any kind but found nothing, nothing that would result in thick strokes of blood. He ended up stuffing the jumper deep inside his wardrobe, the dread flowing over him in waves.

Yangyang finally left the house after 16 days of solitude, only to attend Kun's funeral. Stepping into the church, he immediately spotted the rest of his friends in the back row. His mum gave him a comforting squeeze of the arm before sitting with the rest of their parents, Yangyang sliding onto the end of the pew.

"Hey," Ten gives him a tight smile, bags weighing heavily under his eyes.

"Hey," Yangyang barely murmurs back. They all look so tired, Yangyang can't help feeling like maybe he's just overthinking everything, just like he's sure they all were.

"Who would have thought this could even happen," Lucas rubs his eyes.

"Do you think it was that same guy... the one Kun was telling us about?" Winwin whispers down from the end of the seat.

"The one who murdered those two people across from the shopping mall? Maybe, fuck, I hope they catch the motherfucker," Xiaojun sighs. Someone steps up onto the altar and they all fall quiet as the ceremony begins.

Yangyang silently let his thoughts flow as person after person spoke. He hadn't even thought about that murderer, the police still haven't caught him so it's very possible that that guy was the one that murdered Kun... so why can't he shake this feeling of dread?

After the burial, the boys all stood around Kun's grave. His mother was sobbing nearby, his father hugging her tight.

"Are you guys going back to school soon?" Hendery asks them all.

"I guess... we can't just miss the entire term," Ten sighs, tears welling in his eyes.

"It'll be fine... let's just stick together," Winwin tries to reassure them.

"Didn't we try that? Kun still got fucking brawled to death," Hendery's jaw tightens.

"Hey... that wasn't anyone's fault, we need to get through this together," Lucas snaps back.

"Guys... this isn't the place," Xiaojun mutters under his breath.

"Actually," Hendery pointedly ignores Xiaojun's comment, "Last time I checked, Yangyang was the last one with him, what kind of idiot leaves his friend alone with a murderer running around?" Hendery glares at him.
