"Do you blame yourself?" The detective stares deep into Yangyang's eyes. Something about his eyes unnerves him, his skin clamming up.

"What?" Yangyang's throat is closing up, his breaths so hot and heavy that sweat piles on his upper lip. After all this, after everything, it's hard to comprehend under pressure.

"It's quite common in this situation," The detective's eyes don't falter once as he keeps eyes contact and unlocks Yangyang's handcuffs, "for a patient to feel a kind of... guilt."

Patient? Yangyang thought he was a criminal, not a patient? Did the detective use the wrong terminology? He sure didn't look like he messed up his words. Yangyang looks at his free hands, surely this isn't allowed.

"What situation?"

"What do you think Yangyang? If that's who you truly are." The detective narrows his eyes, Yangyang can feel pure hatred pouring over him, itching his skin and burning through him. Yangyang grips his throat, he couldn't breathe, what was going on?

STOP THIS! STOP!

Yangyang's silent screams reach no one's ears as he falls to the floor. He claws at his throat until blood runs down his finger in thick streams. The pain is nothing to the burning sensation inside his skin, to stretching of his lungs for air, any air.

AGHHHHH! WHY?!?!!!

His head fills with useless screaming, his vision starting to blur. He can see the detective sitting in the chair, across the table, laughing quietly to himself. Ringing in Yangyang's ears stops him from hearing anything, a scary sound of pure silence and deafening noise. He rolls onto his stomach and reaches out towards the door he entered from. Surely someone can see him? Surely someone will save him? His lungs tighten as he feels his entire body dampen with sweat. Yangyang can see his hand stretching to the door, it's a strange hue of blue. His vision blurs and clears again as he looks to the door. There are people standing in the doorway, the door swung open. Yangyang wheezes as he tries to yell for them, yell for help.

He looks up at them, they simply stand and watch him with tears in their eyes. Yangyang can recognise their faces, faces he loved so dearly... faces he wrecked.

Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, Lucas, Winwin and Kun. Kun bends his knees and reaches out a hand to Yangyang. He grabs it and surprisingly, Kun's hand is warm, the comfort flowing over him. Yangyang makes eye contact with Kun, and the ringing in his ears stop. Cool air flows through his throat. Was he imagining this? Maybe he was dead, maybe this is his karma for all he had done.

"Do you blame yourself?"
