People lie all the time. From the simplest lie like going to school, to the complicated ones like covering up for a murderer. They think that if they insist on the lie a thousand times it would become the truth. But life doesn't always happen like that. The truth always comes out, in one form or another. It may not be now, but what about in twenty, thirty years time?
Point is, you can't keep the truth buried forever. And yet that reason alone isn't enough to keep the lies from accumulating like a landfill. And the worst thing is, people actually believe them.
Just like what happened to Harvey.
