Months had now passed since Kyle left. Cartman had tried talking to Kyle's parents and Stan but they refused to tell him anything. He kept on hoping Kyle would just show up one day and everything would go back to normal, or that Kyle would atleast send him a text. But there was nothing.
Cartman didn't graduate because he failed all the final exams and instead of repeating the year he just dropped out. He spent most of his time with Kenny, since Kenny was too poor to afford college. The two spent most of the summer just hanging around town smoking.

"Cartman?" Kenny started.

"Yeah?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I got offered a job."

"That's kewl, what kind of job?"

"My mom's friend needs some help with his car repair shop. But the thing is it's in Denver so I'll be moving there with my brother later this month." Kenny said.

"Shit.." Cartman sighed. "Congratulations, man. I hope it goes well."

"You're not mad?"

"I mean it sucks that you're leaving, but a job's a job."

"Yeah.. thanks." Kenny smiled.

Later that day
Cartman went home. He was stoned out of his mind. He went to his mom's liquor cabinet and took a bottle of jack daniels. He went to his room and drank almost the entire thing, lay down on the floor and blacked out.
~~
Cartman walked down the street and up to Kyle's house. He saw Kyle packing his things in the car. Kyle looked at him and smiled.

"Hey"

"Kahl, I thought you left?"

"No, I'd never do that."

"Then why are you loading the car?" Cartman asked confused.

"Oh, it's because you're leaving."

"Me?"

"Yeah, everyone's tired of you so we decided that instead of all of us leaving we'll just send you away." Kyle replied.

"Where am I going?"

"To hell of course! That's where you belong."

"No, Kahl-" Kyle started pushing Cartman into the car. "Kahl please!"

"See you in hell, fatass." Kyle slammed the door and waved goodbye as the street cracked open and the car drove itself into the gates of hell.

"Kahl!! Help me! Please!!" Cartman screamed out as he went deeper into the ground.
~~
"Kahl... no.." Cartman mumbled as he started to wake up. He opened his eyes a bit and reached for his new phone. He checked his notifications, hoping to have a text from a certain someone, but there was nothing. He tried to sit up but he felt like the room was spinning so he just rolled on his side and fell asleep.

The next day
Cartman still felt a bit sick from the drinking he did the day before. He went over to Stan's house and knocked on the door. Stan answered.

"Hey, what's up?" Stan said.

"Please just tell me where Kyle is. I'm losing my mind over here."

"He doesn't want to talk to you, Cartman."

"Can you atleast call him and put him on speaker?" Cartman pleaded. "I just want to hear his voice. Please?"

"Not this again." Stan sighed. "I've already told you that you should just move on. You missed your chance with him so you have to stop."

"I didn't think he would just leave!"

"Shit happens, Cartman. Now go deal with yours." Stan said and closed the door.
