Given an Opportunity

"What's with that face?" All Might started to laugh and approached the boy.

"Like I said earlier it's just a suggestion, the real show starts now." All Might said, looking at the sky and pointing at it.

"The sky is your limit. How much you're gonna achieve depends solely on how much effort you're willing to put in." All Might said now looking at the boy.

"So do you want to inherit my power? With my power comes great responsibility and a big burden is immediately put on your shoulders." As All Might started to spew more blood while pointing his finger on our cinnamon roll?

"Inherit your power? Responsibility? Burden? I don't understand a single thing you're saying!" Izuku asked in confusion.

"The power I'm talking about is my Quirk. News articles and papers call it inhuman super strength. During interviews I constantly dodge questions related to my Quirk. Young Midoriya, right now and here I'm going to tell you the truth of my Quirk that only a handful of people in the world know about." As Izuku gulped nervously  but curiosity overwhelmed his nervousness.

"My Quirk was passed on to me like a torch!" All Might exclaimed.

"It was passed on to you?" Izuku asked  curiously, as he wanted to know more.

"That's right, and I've decided to pass it on to you next!" All Might exclaimed.

"I don't understand a single thing about what you're saying! It's true that your Quirk is hotly debated as one of the world's greatest mysteries but I don't understand a thing about inheriting or passing on a Quirk. Did you inherit your Quirk from your parents? But how are you gonna pass it on to me? We aren't blood related I think?" Our diamond freckled boy muttered.

"You always start in denial huh? Nonsense! I may hide a lot of things but I don't lie! The Quirk to transfer power. I was crowned with One for All." All Might said proudly.

"One for All?" Izuku uttered those words, curiously wanting to know more about All Might's Quirk that is now named as One for All.

"One person cultivates the power and passes it on to the next person, the person then cultivates it and passes it on to another, the cycle repeats and eventually the power that is One for All grew and grew until eventually it reached me. One for All is a Quirk that gets stronger and stronger after each generation. One for All is a collective effort of each past user put into one Quirk. That's why I have inhuman strength and speed. It's a combination of all the past users strengths, speed, efforts and determination that cultivated this power to what it is today. It's the crystallisation of power that spins together the voices that need help with a courageous heart." All Might said proudly clenching his fist.

"Why are you giving something so great to a Quirkless nobody like me?" Izuku asked, wanting to know why he is being blessed with this opportunity.

"I was a Quirkless nobody too at some point." All Might said, recollecting on the past on how he got his Quirk from his master.

"You were Quirkless?" Izuku asked in a surprised manner to know that the All Might was Quirkless before.

"I was Quirkless until my Master deemed me worthy to inherit this Quirk. And now I deem you worthy to inherit this Quirk that was passed on to me. So will you accept it, One for All?" All Might asked in a serious tone.

Some tears started to develop in Izuku's eyes and he tried to hold it back.

"It's up to you though, inheriting my Quirk means having a huge responsibility and burden put upon you." All Might said testing our cinnamon roll's determination and will power.
