Hi it's me the author I'm a bit frustrated. We had a thunderstorm and a tree collapsed and destroyed one of the electricity lines and I had to wait the next day for the electricity to come back. The worst part about this is before we lost electricity this I was nearing the end of the chapter. I thought that Wattpad saved the chapters automatically every now and again while you're making the chapter but when I logged on as soon as the electricity came back, the draft for my entire chapter was all gone. Also I don't think I want to post daily anymore, I want to put more effort and time into every chapter so that it could be the best and it's starting to get difficult to make a chapter a day. As soon as the light that emitted of the final countdown light turned off it was instant chaos inside the tunnel. Fortunately our protagonist figured beforehand that the tunnel was gonna be cramped so he decided to stay at the very back. With all of the people were inside the tunnel scrambling and pushing each other our protagonist put his plan to work. He already had One for All prepared beforehand so he started to run back away from the tunnel. Most people were thinking what was the NO. 1 ranked U.A. First Year was doing. When he got to the distance where he wanted, he started to run towards the tunnel. He timed his jump just right and with the momentum from earlier he started to wall run the tunnel. He bursted out of the tunnel like a jet and already had a massive lead over everyone. Top Pro Heroes who were watching knew what he did. He ran back so he could have more distance to gain speed and he used the momentum to wall run the entire tunnel avoiding and skipping everyone. Everyone inside the tunnel who were struggling all stopped what they were doing to see a flash of green light fly over them. Most of the audience were also confused on how he suddenly went from last place to first in a matter of a few seconds.

"It's me Present Mic and with me is Eraser Head who will be doing the play by play!" Present Mic said over a mic inside most likely the commentary room.

"You forced me here." Eraser Head said tiredly as usual.

"Stop joking with me. And wow look at that! Midoriya was just last place a few seconds ago, how did he suddenly get 1st place!" Present Mic said in shock.

"The early stage can either break or make your run. Midoriya probably noticed the tunnel was a bit too cramped and that it would be pure and utter chaos. He intentionality ran back to have more distance to work so he just have enough momentum so he can wall run the entire tunnel, skipping and avoiding everyone in the process." Eraser Head and most of the people watching were shocked at how amazing our cinnamon roll was. They had a bit of knowledge at what our cinnamon roll was capable of.

Our protagonist had a head start as he started to run further away from the competition. Not far away from him was the dual haired guy Todoroki after him. Immediately after Todoroki was out the tunnel he freezed the ground and most of his competition's feet were frozen solid to the ground. Fortunately not everyone got caught by his trap. Members from Class 1-A and Class 1-B anticipated that he would do this. Of course some people from other classes was able to counter this with a compatible Quirk but only a few. No surprise that more members of Class 1-A was able to counter the trap since Todoroki was their classmate after all.

Some Class 1-B members who countered the Ice was Juzo, Tetsutetsu, Kaibara and Kuroiro. Juzo simply soften the frozen ground beneath him letting him free. Tetsutetsu who had a more forward approach simply turned his entire leg to steel and bulldoze through the frozen ice ground like it was nothing. Kaibara used his Quirk Gyrate on his legs and it started to cut the ice quickly and was able to continue on. Kuroiro simply went into the shadow emitted by other students or obstacles and easily escaped the trap.
