Chapter 9
"Bri, I started, did you ever go to a doctor?" I started to ask.
"No why?" She asked.
"Let's go." I replied.
"Hey boys!" I started to yell, "we're running to the doctors!"

***time skip***
Bri's POV
"Dallas we need to talk." I said.
"Yea, what's up?" He said smiling.
"This is hard-- b-but I'm not pregnant."
"But I thought--"
"It was a false alarm I'm sorry. I don't think we should be together." I started crying.
"But I thought you loved me? I thought you cared about me? How could you?" He finished with tears in his eyes.
"I'm in love with johnny a love I have never felt. Dallas we will always be friends but I can't love you I can't because you love being young." I finished.
"Ok we are through." He said starting to get angry. "I never want to see you again!"
"Dallas plea-" I could finish.
With a punch to my face I fell to the floor. Dallas had punched me. He started crying then ran.

Rosie's POV
"I love you Ponyboy Curtis with all my heart." I said looking over and over again at my beautiful ring. He kissed me as we sat and watched the sunset.
"O look it's a call from bri." I said checking my phone.
I answered it and ran.
"Rosie! Where are you going?" Ponyboy yelled.
"Bris hurt!" I yelled back.
He ran after me and we both ran and ran until we found bri she was bleeding from her face and had tears coming from her eyes.
Pony picked her up while I questioned what happened.
"Dallas hit me." She said clearly and coolly.
"I'm going to kill him." Pony said.
"Ponyboy stop, we need to get bri to the hospital she's bleeding pretty bad." I said.
Once we finally reached the hospital bri had passed out and her face was bleeding really bad. The doctors took her away. Me and Ponyboy watched as they took her away from us. We called Darry and Sodapop they came as soon as they heard. I cried and cried into ponys arms praying that she would be ok.
"Rosie what happened to bri." Darry asked.
"Dallas hit her." Ponyboy answered for me.
"You can't be serious." Darry asked.
"He did and he hit me too before, bris not pregnant so I guess he got mad." I explained through sobs.
"But why did he hit her?" Darry asked.
"He's crazy and he's always drunk I never want to see him again!" I yelled.
"Um Bris family?" A doctor asked.
"Yes." Darry answered.
"She's awake." The doctor said.
We all ran to the room were bri lies awake.
"Hi bri how are you feeling?" I asked to my best friend.
"Who are you?" She asked, "how do you know my name." She finished.
"I'm your best friend and this Ponyboy and Darry and Soda." I finished with tears in my eyes.
"I'm sorry I don't know you." She said.
At that moment I had lost it my best friend doesn't know me. How, how Dally took another person I love away from me. How could he do this. I ran out of the hospital and kept running, I didn't know where I was going but I kept running. Ponyboy was trailing behind me screaming my name. I finally stopped and fell to the ground my body shaking with sobs. With my eyes closed I felt a strong figure picking me up. Ponyboy I thought. At leas he still loves me. That was the last thing I thought before the world went black.
