Oh...my...god um well long time no see and honestly that's my fault THAT IS ALL MY FAULT!!! IM SO SORRY THOUGH MY MENTAL HEALTH WAS SO BAD AND I JJST DECIDED A BREAK WAS WHAT I NEEDED. Like if y'all follow my tik tok I honestly could barley post in that cause it just took so much motivation and ngl I'm still not doing the best but I wanted to keep writing anyway I'm so so sorry!!!! Bentley woke up on a bed that wasn't hers. It was JJ's bed. She had no recondition of what had happened last night. She scratched her head confused, squinting her eyes from the light shining through the window. She looked down to find herself in one of JJ's old shirts. It finally dawned on her what had happened last night. JJ must have taken her back to his place.

She still had her bathing suit on under but JJ had taken off her jean shorts and crop top and replaced it with one of his t-shirts so she would be more comfortable.

They were now laying nicely on his side table all folded for her.

She shuffled slowly out of the room rubbing her eyes to find JJ asleep on the couch. She smiled, as she walked to the messy kitchen grabbing a glass from the cabinet. She grabbed one of the plastic gallon containers filled with water and poured it into the cup. She walked slowly towards the couch that her friend had slept on all night and sat on the floor beside the sofa. She slowly grabbed the boys hand that was leaning off the edge of the couch, she slowly used the pad of her thumb to rub the top of his hand softly. She smiled at him, he was so peaceful and gentle. After a few minutes he woke up and smiled at the girls presence.

"Hey" the girl smiled as she slowly took her hand off of the boys so he wouldn't notice.

"Morning" he said in a raspy voice as he was still waking up.

The girl moved herself on the sofa next to him. "hey thanks for um- what you did last night" she smiled "It means a lot"

"hey of course i- um- i'm sorry that happened" he stuttered scratching his neck at the memory of the flashback he had.

She gave him a quick tight hug thanking him.

"anyway we sh-" the girl was cut off with a loud knock at the door. "you expecting someone?" B laughed.

"hmm no" the boy said rising from his seat to the door. B watched with intent as he opened the door and watched the Sheriff invite herself inside the house.

"Lucky me! a two for one deal" she stared at B and JJ.

"what is it?" the girl questioned getting up from her seat and walking back towards the kitchen.

"Well I came to talk to the both of you about a fight on the beach yesterday" the sheriff responded as she walked slowly around the filthy room inspecting it in disgust.

"Yeah John b took a few hits but he's fine" the girl laughed.

"And a gun was involved" the woman declared in a stern tone.

"Where'd you hear that from" JJ scoffed.

"Hmm" the woman said in suspicion.

"I mean we're all fine am I right?" the girl said nudging JJ with her shoulder.

"yup just-uh...peachy." JJ added.

"Well I think you two need to hear the same thing I told your friend, you're skimming just above the surface, that's a dangerous game you're playing. Both of you have tried it before, you know what happens?"
