After his seizure and near-death experience, Tsukishima was more quiet and subtle. He wasn't insulting anyone, nor was he trying to be mean to anyone. If teasing would be appropriate at the moment, I'd say he has gone softer on me as well. I can't blame him.

I stayed while he slept, and I was given breakfast. After taking my meds, I fell asleep and was taken back to my room. Mom and Dad were around when I saw them during lunch, and they praised me for finally being able to step foot outside. I went outside because I wanted to see him.. because I was worried.

Tsukishima was bedridden for three days, or was simply afraid of moving around just as I was the previous days. Pinned to my own bed, trapped in my head with all these malicious and negative thoughts, and afraid of moving.. of making a mistake that may lead to death.

I knew Tsukishima would be feeling that way, so I decided to visit him. He must be feeling unused to being alone. He was always with Yamaguchi, and was always surrounded Hinata and Kageyama during exam seasons, and me as the extra in the background who randomly helps them out.

I knock on his door, and find him reading a book. "Why are you alone?" I ask, and take a seat on the chair.

"Why are you here and not in your room?" I just smile, and lean over to see the book he's reading. Wait.. his dextrose..

"Why is this red? Oh, a blood bag..." Did he lose blood? "Are you currently anemic?" He shrugs, and points to the bag. "Then, I guess you are. So, where's Tsukishima-san and Akiteru-san?"

"(Y/n), you call me Tsukishima too.. me, my brother, and my mother are all Tsukishima's. We're Dad's family after all.. and it's odd how you call my brother his given name, and me by our family name." Wow, that's a lot of words. "What do you look so surprised for?" I shake my head and smile.

"You want me to call you by your given name too?" He nods, and I chuckle. "Then, Kei..?" He smiles, and attempts to take the glass, when I saw how his hand was shaking. He hides his hand, and I pick up the glass for him instead. "I'll help you drink, so here."

"Thanks.." He doesn't want to admit it, but he also needs help. "So, why are you still here again?"

"I figured that you felt lonely... because the months that I spent in here... I felt really lonely. I never told any of you, so to have a friend around makes me happy. Also.. you put up a front every time, and after what happened.. I don't think I can just ignore that.. You need help and comfort, and company.. as much as I do."

"I never denied that I needed help though." Whatever. "It was weird. They said I calmed down after you came in."

"You must have a crush on me, don't you?" He flicks my forehead and I just laugh. "I was going to panic, but then you calmed down. I was down for days, and actually, I wasn't going to come and see you.... but I got worried. Then they said you had a seizure, then.. I mean.. You just got here, Tsukishima. Don't die so soon."

"Again, call me Kei, and I won't." He pats my head, and I smile, handing him the apple I peeled. "You could've just washed it." Oh... "Never mind. Thanks anyway."
