Present Day:
Cancer? I...I...I don't know how to feel. I don't know what to say. All I did was cry.
"Monti, did you hear what the doc said?" cal asked in a sweet soothing tone.
I just nodded. I was speechless. Nothing like this has ever happened to anyone else in our family. I guess I'm the first. What type of cancer is it? What stage? Will I be okay?
"I'm scared, Cal."
"We all are, Monti. All we have to do now is hope they can free you of cancer. And if they can't, then we'll just have to live life to its fullest. I'm not gonna leave your side, baby." I almost cried again. That was the sweetest thing he has ever said.
At that moment I didn't care about what happened January 5. Yeah he kissed Rythma, but she probably came on to him because let's face it, she was kind of a slut. I'm sure we made up. If we didn't, why would he be here? I chose not to think about that and just focus on my family and Calum. We needed to be together just in case this cancer was fatal or they just couldn't keep it away from me.
Cal then jumped into the bed with me and we just sat there holding each other while some kids show was playing on the hospital room's TV. I'm not going to read that journal anymore. I'm going to focus on the present now, the past is behind me.
"This is the best way I could end my day. I love you, Calum Thomas Hood."
"And I love you, Montana Jade Cases."
A tear came strolling down my face when he said that. He loves me. I love him. This is some The Fault in Our Stars shit. I'm just glad I have him in my life. 😊

I've been sick and bust with school and watching marathons of Chopped😂. I'm back now though, so yeah... Ooh and if you care, my mom is finally taking me to New Orleans to see the AHS stuff.
