It had been years since this place had accepted her as a visitor. She sat there, legs criss crossed, hands in her lap and her shoulder length blonde hair floating weightlessly behind her in the zero gravity. She stared into the depths of space, quickly loosing count of the stars. From where she sat she could see the Milky Way galaxy. Earth. She then turned her attention to the left where another, much furtherly galaxy filled up space. Home. She didn't know which to pick. Tears stung the back of her eyes, threatening to fall. If she went home they would scream, they would cry, they would grieve, they would mourn. But if she went back to Earth she knew for certain that she would never find true happiness ever again. She didn't want to choose. She didn't want to hurt them. She didn't want to make them cry but she also didn't want to go back to the only place they would ever be able to live safely. They weren't her real family anyways so why should she care? Though she was not born of them she couldn't help but to still love them. Those little humans she called her family. Of course her real flesh and blood held a larger part of her heart but that was of little importance. Though just because that was the case didn't make the choice she had to make any less difficult. That was her dilemma. Stuck between two heart wrenching loves, unable to pick between them because no matter what she chose, someone would get hurt in the end. Either herself or them. So she did the only thing she could think to do. She cried.
