(You know what, you guys have been through enough pain, I'm gonna write a wholesome chapter now, but don't get used to it from this book xD
Enjoy!)

The sunrise peeked through the window, showing the start of a new day. Eren Yeager was already awake, Levi was still asleep, however. After a night like he had, Eren was anything but surprised.

Since it was still early and Levi was sound asleep, Eren thought it would be a good idea to go check up with Hange about getting Levi some breakfast. After all, he seemed to like their cooking.

Eren carefully and slowly climbed out of bed, trying not to disturb Levi by doing so. Once he was successful in getting out of bed, he made his way down the hall and to the kitchen of the mess hall, where Hange almost always was at this time of the morning.

Meanwhile, Hange had most of the soldier's breakfast ready to go, all that was left was a special meal for Captain Levi. Hange understood they didn't have to do anything special for him, but if it got him to eat, then it was fine by them and worth the extra time.

"Good morning, Hange." Eren greeted, walking in to the kitchen.

"Eren, just the man I wanted to see!" Hange beamed, pulling Eren towards their cookbook. "I can't decide what to make Levi for breakfast. Did he say what he wanted? Is he up yet? He didn't eat any dinner last night and I'm worried."

Eren was a bit surprised at Hange's lack of personal space they gave him, as well as being bombarded with questions. Who was he kidding? This was Hange and he should have expected it by now.

"Well, he's not exactly awake yet," Eren explained. "He had a long night, he was having trouble getting to sleep."

"Why?" Hange replied immediately, looking at Eren.

"Well he was sick," Eren told them. He didn't lie, not completely, Levi was sick. He decided to spare Hange the details of Levi's panic attack last night as to not embarrass Levi any further with it and respect his privacy.

"Well, no wonder he won't eat." Hange spoke up, "he never eats when he's sick, unless you bribe him with cookies."

Eren was shocked, he didn't know Levi had a sweet tooth. "Cookies?" He asked, making sure he heard Hange right.

"Yeah!" Hange confirmed, showing Eren their homemade recipe for Levi's cookies. "He likes it when you cut them into shapes and frost them too! It's all he ever eats when he's sick."

"Wow," Eren said, still in disbelief. He thought he'd known the captain so well and yet, he actually never really knew anything about him until a few nights ago when he caught him in the middle of regression.

"You know what, the three of us should do something together." Hange suggested, setting the cookbook down. "Besides, if Levi isn't feeling well, there's no reason for him to go out fighting titans now. He deserves a day off, you do too, Eren. So, what do you say? Let's bake some cookies!"

It sounded fun to Eren, he thought it would be a nice experience for Levi since he'd had such a tough time recently. "Alright," he agreed. "Let's do it!"

As Eren shook Hange's hand, sealing the deal, a question popped into his mind.

"Wait a minute," Eren began. "What if Levi slips up and regresses in front of you? Won't he be embarrassed?"

"He won't regress in front of me," Hange assured him. "Like I said, he only does that by himself, when he was alone with Erwin and now with you, I guess," they admitted. "The only reason I know is because I caught him regressing on my own, he never told me explicitly because he doesn't trust anyone."
