Maya's pov:

I decide to text Riley. She's my best friend and I can't see Josh anymore and honestly I don't want to.

Me:
'Hey Riley, I'm not coming to pick you up this morning'

And with that I walked to school. U get their and see Lucas talking to Riley. Those two lovebirds. LOL.

"Thanks for yesterday buckey mc boing boing" I said to Lucas

"Anytime" he says.

"What did you do!" Riley asks apparently all up in my business.

"Well Josh came over and then kinda told accidentally told me he was leaving and I got mad and told him to leave and he wouldn't but luckily Lucas was there and he got him to leave. That also why I didn't pick you up because I didn't want to see him." I try to explain.

"That makes sense" Riley says

Lucas's pov:

If only she knew that I saw everything and heard everything. If only she knew how beautiful she was. If only she knew that I loved her. If only she knew that's why I was there.

I just wish Riley wasn't always there. I wish I could have alone time with Maya.

I hope one day, Maya realizes that opposites attract. Especially your stereo types. "perfect" can fix "broken" no matter how bad it is.

Josh's pov~

UGH!!

I just tried to fix things and now she Hates me. I wish Lucas wouldn't have showed up. Obviously he has a thing for Maya and I do too. I can't let that country hill billy get in the way of mine and Maya's city relationship.

This guy is getting in my way. Maya's emotions too.

Maya hates me though. I have to prove to her I won't leave.

"Hey brother! I was wondering if I could enroll in Quincy Adams and Maybe live in the guest room?" I ask

"If it okay with mom and dad then sure. that would be great."

Now I have a lot of persuading to do. All of this for Maya. I better get her back and away from Mr. Howdy!
