Chapter 11

Josh's pov:

I watch as Maya runs away from Riley and out of the apartment.

"RILEY!" I scream

She runs in and flips me off. then says, "maya, she's gone. Maya is tired of you. She left because of you"

What!! Maya is gone.

"Why would she leave because of me."
"She was tired of you."
"For what?!"

"You just lied to her. You told her you would never leave her and I know you have to go back home at some point and in a week actually. She knows it too. She doesn't want somebody like you" she says.

My heart shatters. Riley was right. Or so she thought.

Maya's pov~

I can't believe she would do that!!! All i need is josh. I can't live without him!!

I run home crying all the way. As I run into my apartment building, I pass Ranger Rick or Lucas.

"Maya, your mom said she will be gone for a month but she left you money in your apartment." said my door man Tony.

"Thanks tony" I say in-between tears

I walk up to my apartment still crying. I hear a knock on the door. When I open, their stands none other than Josh himself.

"I can't see you and I can't talk to you josh" I scream while crying

"You won't. it's not that You can't, it's that you won't. Maya, I'm not going anywhere." he says very calmly.

"No, Josh I won't betray my best friend. I can't see you. She told me to get out and leave because We kissed. She got mad. I love Riley and I can't let her go."

"Riley told me you were mad at me because I have to go home in a week and leave you."

"You lied!! You do leave. Your just like very body else Josh!"

"No I'm not!!" He screamed.

"Just leave Josh"

"No!"

"LEAVE" I yell

He was about say something until somebody cut him off.

"I think the lady say leave. You can leave or we can do this the hard way." he says while cracking his knuckles.

I take a step farther. There stands Lucas.

Josh walks away. Obviously pissed.

"Thanks Sundance" I say

"Anytime Clutterbucket" he laughs. With that he walks off.
