Talks of a Wedding

Everything was coming together. Sasuke watched along with his friends while many of the Uchiha's were being locked up and escorted to the nearest holding place. Sasuke watched as Itachi managed to rebuild and restructure the Uchiha clan, as well as make a specific part of the clan Uzu-Uchiha clan that him and Karin will get started.

Karin seemed to adore her cousin and Gaara, the three of them were inseparable, and even when Choji tossed his girlfriend Karui into the mix, all of them managed to get along and talk as if they had endless things to talk about.

Naruto could slowly feel the lands coming together. He still had to visit Amegakure, that land was calling out to him as well as Uzushiogakure. Naruto knew it was in ruins but he could fix that, maybe usher some Uzumaki's that are still alive back home.

Though what had Naruto's attention is that all of the branch members walked around with their foreheads exposed. Naruto watched in happiness, as the long days and the chakra exhaustion nights that after four months, the entire branch family managed to get those seals off. 

That was worth everything! To see the Hyuga clan combine and become one clan felt so good to Naruto. Naruto waved to the little cousins who didn't even have to get a seal yet. He watched with his arms folded.

It had been four months of Naruto removing seals, and of Sasuke and Itachi cleaning house. Things were settling and things were calm, and with it being calm it begged the question of Kiba boldly declaring.

"When are you both getting married?" Naruto and Neji who stood there stunned looked to Kiba and their friends confused.

"We are already married?" Naruto was confused, they were technically married, and they embraced that fact that they were married.

"An actually wedding? If anybody here has loved one another for a while it's you and Neji." Gaara said calmly, looking at Naruto. Naruto blinked a little.

"You did come home about five months ago? Maybe you both start moving a little quicker?" Kurama said and Naruto looked down at Rahn.

"Do what you wish Artemis." Rahn said calmly and Naruto looked up to Neji to see him chuckling, Naruto was confused but Neji laughed loudly a little, full enjoyment of this situation as he looked at Naruto.

"Am I not your husband? You value Rahn's opinion more than mines?" Naruto opened his mouth and Neji smiled a little.

"Yes, you are the goddess of wildlife and hunting, though I am your husband." Neji lightly scolded and Naruto hummed.

"Did you know Artemis never married." Naruto said calmly, he linked hands with Neji and shrugged his shoulders.

"Maybe a lack a wedding is influenced by Artemis, but me and Neji are technically married and have been since I was ten so no need for a wedding. Unless Neji wants one." Naruto looked to Neji and Neji tilted his head.

"Artemis never married? So what did she do? Was she promiscuous?" Neji was actually interested in the topic.

"She never was, she used to judge me and Shu's relationship." Shikamaru tilted his head.

"Huh?" Shikamaru said and Gaara rolled his eyes, while the other listened.

"Keep up deer! Their past lives duh!"  Kiba said as if he knew but he had to ask Shino to keep him up to date.

"Artemis is also known as the Goddess of Child Birth and Midwifery. She swore off men and protected the woman of her time." Naruto said calmly, and clapped his hands.

"So I think that is the reason why me and Neji are fine not doing anything. I hope we love one another and don't need to tell the entire village we are happy. If my husband agrees." Neji blinked and wrapped his arms around Naruto. Naruto sighed and Gaara chuckled.

"No wedding, can we at least have a cake though?" Gaara loved cake, he wanted the dessert at him and Shikamaru's wedding. Naruto smiled softly.

"Yeah of course. Now don't we have a date to ruin?" Naruto said asking about Sasuke and Karin having a date during their friend time. Though it seemed that both Karin and Sasuke had that same thought as the emerged from the food place in which they would be having a date in, with mass amounts of food.

"You're going to eat all that food?" Kiba asked, a dumb expression crossing his face and Shino merely chuckled behind his friend group. That chuckle made Kiba's face go up in flames as he ignored his group and looked up to Shino scolding him.

Though Shino only looked down and told the pup he was cute, and that's why he chuckled. Which earned Kiba slamming his face into Shino's chest to hide the blush.

"We were heading to the nap room. Assuming that's where you would all be." Karin said, looking mostly at Gaara and Naruto. Her favorite people even over her husband to be.

Everybody headed over to the nap room. There was always a stampede of people coming through the Hyuga clan. Neji even had paperwork because him and Naruto were looking over the clans rules and how it looked to outsiders.

Neji strived to make the calm better than it had been before and he was thankful that Naruto was on his side every step of the way. As he looked over the paperwork, he often than not seemed to get distracted as Naruto soft laughter would ring out at the most random times. The way Naruto latched onto his hands without a second thought.

Also the way he furrowed his brows, and Naruto would immediately kiss his cheek to fix his face while returning back to his rowdy friends and family. Neji was over the moon in love with Naruto and he was actually ready to take the next step with him.

He knew he had to wait until the other parties in this room were ready to have a child so that their children could grow up with one another, though seeing Naruto cling to him as they finally become one, both body and soul didn't seem to leave Neji's mind. Even when he locked eyes with blue ones, and a small smile reached his face.

Neji leaned down and kissed Naruto passionately, the talking around them reduced themselves to warbled noises as Naruto and Neji focused solely on the other. Naruto's heart was hammering in his ears as Neji pulled away and kissed his forehead. Naruto closed his eyes and tossed himself in Neji's chest, Neji rubbed his back up and down.

"Boo! You both don't want to have a wedding! Why not!" Karin said to both Neji and Naruto and suddenly their friends were back on the topic of a wedding and Neji sighed.

"If you all want a wedding, propose to your significant other right now." Neji said and that one sentence is what shut them room up, Naruto snickered lowly but Neji shrugged and ate his portion as the room went quiet with flushed cheeks.
