Another trial of survival had begun. Another battle of herself against the world– which had been extracting all the confidence she had.
She didn't have enough courage to fight, but she had enough courage to run— and at the count of one, two, three. . .
An escape was started.
She ran.
Her legs were competing with the speed of wind— it was fast, but she had to be faster or else the judgement chasing her behind would let her down. No.
She dodged.
Her arms were quick and strong enough to push all the source of insecurities blocking her way. Her eagerness to escape was much bigger than them, so no. . . not anymore.
She just ran, unminding everything around. Her eyes were too fixed on the way out, and all that she knew was. . .
Everything would be better afterwards.
She didn't stop.
And as she was already near to her pursuit of new beggining, she finally feel the thing she had been longing for so long. . .
Freedom.
A triumphant smile escaped her lips, finally. . . she could be free anymore. Fina—
But she stumbled.
The wind got faster.
And the monster chasing her behind got near. No, she quiclky picked herself up. No! She again began running, with her heart beating fast, tears already streaming down and fear. . . no, she was'nt afraid anymore! Not anymore! Enough!
So she speed up her pace, erased all doubts and focused on escaping again. She was so determined. . .
that there was something she didn't notice.
There was a cliff.
Near.
And on the cliff, she couldn't slow down anymore.
She fell.
Slowly, realizations hit her. She thought it was right— that running away was right and victory was already near her but. . .
Dead end.
If only she fought back
Defeat.
Again, another battle of survival had been over.
The gamer cussed after his character on Temple Run failed again. It was so frustrating that he decided to just leave the game, and played Pou instead.
