Luka and I have been going to the studio and dancing a lot more, it became our thing, not just choreographing stuff for Kitty Section, but just to dance together. Today was my turn to pick the song we choreographed a dance to and I picked 'false confidence' by Noah Kahan. Luka saw it fitting to do weird faces in the beginning when the lyrics said 'don't take yourself so seriously' and it took everything to not laugh since as a character in this dance I am supposed to be serious and uptight at the beginning. We decided to make a channel on youtube centered around our dancing, Jules and Rose came to watch us, like they have been doing lately, and recorded the dance for us.
We uploaded the video to youtube, we were lucky enough to get an easier start, not that we really wanted recognition, but Kitty Section promoted the channel and since our social medias were blowing up it was easier to draw attention to us.
"That was amazing!" Rose yelled before running up and hugging us.
"That was really powerful." Jules agreed.
"We've gotten a lot better at making up random choreography." I stated.
"Well that's a given when we come here almost everyday." Luka said with a laugh.
"Wait, don't you guys have that interview tomorrow?" Rose questioned.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that, at the t.v. station right?" I asked.
"Yeah, Nadja wanted an exclusive with you two." Jules responded.
"Got it, its in my calendar." I said.
We all gathered out things and left the studio, making our way back to the boat. Upon our arrival, we saw Jagged on the boat, Rose and I gripped our partner's hands tighter, they knew he was their dad, and they had talked to him before, but it still hurts them that he left.
"Hey... dad." Jules says.
"Hi kids, listen, I know that my decision was wrong, and I will never stop being sorry, but I am well aware sorry will not change or fix anything, but I do want to build a relationship with you guys, I know it won't be the same, but it will be something." Jagged says.
"I... I'm open to that." Luka agrees, and squeezes my hand.
"Yeah, just... promise you won't walk out again." Jules says rather bluntly, but understandably nonetheless.
"You have my word, not that I really think that means much to you guys at the moment." Jagged responds.
"Anyway, sorry I am blunt and all but this is fairly awkward at the moment for Rose and I, so I'm just gonna get the formalities out of the way, hey, you probably don't remember me but I'm y/n, Luka's best friend since forever and his girlfriend, and this is Jules' girlfriend Rose." I say.
"I do remember you y/n, fiery as ever I see, and nice to meet you formally Rose, you are also one of Marinette's friends right?" he responds.
"Of course" I say to his comment on me.
"Yes I am." Rose says in response to his question.
"Well I need to go get ready for rehearsal, I have a concert in 2 days, I left tickets and backstage passes inside for all of you with your mother." He says as he bids farewell.
"Bye." We all say in unison.
"Gotta admit, even though I'm still a bit sour, having backstage passes to my favorite musicians concert is pretty cool." Luka says.
