The One That Stayed (Luka Couffaine x reader)

~Moving in, And Moving On~

We wake up to our alarm blaring at 7 in the morning. Luka and I set up a twin sized air mattress on the floor next to the bed for Cierra to sleep on. She groaned and was refusing to get up while Luka and I sit there silently amused. 

"Shut up you stupid alarm!" Cierra wails in further resistance. 

"Never!" Luka yells in his evil voice.

"Bah!" She yells while jumping up.

"I see you forgot about us already." I say pretending to be hurt.

"Girl, you know I'm not a morning person, I wake up and it takes me 20 minutes to even remember myself." Cierra groans. 

Luka and I get out of bed and begin getting ready for the day, first, we were going out to eat, and then we need to get the keys and move everything in. Anarka was nice enough to pack up the rest of our belongings while we were gone. She kept insisting on making breakfast for us today but we told her we were just going to eat at the cafe right next to our apartment building. Luka assured her we'd come by almost everyday to see her.

We all said bye to Rose, Jules, and Anarka, after loading up the moving van we had ordered to be brought to the boat this morning. 

After making sure the hatch was completely secure, Luka got in and began driving to the building with Cierra in the passenger seat while I followed behind on his motorcycle. I can't believe that our future begins today. We unloaded all the boxes at the apartment, ate real quick, and then quickly set up the apartment. 

Jules reminded us at about 4pm that they were hosting a party for us at the boat. 

~Luka's POV~

Little does y/n know, this is really a party so I can propose. I got the ring when we were in America.  

-time skip to the boat-

As we got onto the boat Jules announced us to the audience. It was her idea to broadcast this to our fans, they are our biggest supporters, and I don't see why we should hide this huge life event from them. 

As the night came to its peak at around 9 pm, I brought y/n onto the stage. 

"y/n, as you know, this party was planned to celebrate us moving into our own place, with Cierra for her schooling abroad. But there was another reason and a special reason for this broadcast. Now all of our fans know from the headline they clicked on what this is about. I apologize for you being in the dark about this, but I believe you will be thanking me in the end." 

I cued Jules to start playing a slideshow of mine and y/n's lives behind us.

"You have been my person since day one, we grew up together, and somewhere along the way, you became my girlfriend. I love you more than words can describe and so much more than any melody I could possibly create. You are my everything, every day, from the second I wake up, to the second I fall asleep. We still have a long journey ahead of us, but, I'd like to mark this moment as the start of our tomorrow. Y/n L/n, will you do me the biggest honor of letting me become your husband?" I say as I get on one knee. 

"Yes, yes, you don't even have to ask!" She yells before I place the ring on her finger and she envelops me in the biggest hug. 

"I also have a surprise for you," She whispers to me before grabbing the mic. 

"Well, thank you all for joining us, and supporting us. I can't believe I'm engaged, I feel so old!" She says, causing a giggle to run through the crowd. 

"I have an even bigger announcement that I was going to tell Lu later, but I guess now is as good a time as any," She begins. 

"I'm Pregnant!" She announces into the mic. Tears begin to run down my face as she smiles at me. I can't believe I'm going to be a dad. Everyone is yelling congratulations, but all I can see or hear is y/n, right in front of me. Right now, in this moment, I have everything I ever could have wanted.
