Chapter 19

POV Stefania
The sun is shining brightly in my face which is the reason I wake up.
I let my eyes closed for a bit but open them as soon as I notice that Danielle isn't here. My hand is looking for her but she is nowhere to find so I have to let the sun blend me.
I look around her messy but though beautiful room but she's really nowhere to be found. My head is pounding like crazy but I don't even remember drinking that much yesterday.

Just now I notice that I'm not even wearing shorts or so. Just my underwear and the baggy t-shirt I wore yesterday on top.
How did this happen? Did we-? No, no, I would have remembered that. There's no way.

"Danielle!" I eventually scream after ordering my thoughts and thinking about why I don't have shorts on. The memories are vague.
Just a short time after I hear some fast footsteps that are making their way toward me.

"What is it, beautiful?"
"Why aren't you in bed?" I say, just now realizing how raspy my voice has to sound.
"Your voice sounds sexy"
I only groan, not really paying intention to what she just said.
"Uhm-" she eventually continues. "I made you some breakfast. But first- do you want something against your headache?"
I slowly nod my head yes because I could really use some medicine right now.
"Let me get it real quick"
"No, don't leave me," I say in quite a childish way. "Come to me, I want to cuddle"
"It's only a minute"
"Hm"

She comes back really just a minute later and hands me a bottle of water and 2 pills.
I swallow everything and thank her.
She then lays down, just looking at me.

"What?" I eventually ask.
"Nothing. You're nice to look at"
"Come on, my head can't do this right now. But do you just want to keep watching down at me or cuddle instead?" She just laughs at me and comes closer. I put my head into her neck and Danielle soon starts to play with my hair.
"Why are you up already and why the hell are you so fit?"
"I didn't drink as much as you did."
"Hm- do you know where my phone is? I need to check if Jeff's alright"
"Where is she even?"
"She's at Leco's place so I have to text him real quick."
"Leco is- Oh! That's one guy you were on a trip with"
"Yeah, he was there too"

POV Danielle
"So, there you go," I say as I hand Stefania a smoothie bowl to eat. She didn't want to leave the bed so we'll have to eat here.

"Hm- that is so good, Bambina"
"Grazie"
She grins brightly as I say this which makes me happy as well.
"Okay, I have a weird question" she eventually says. "I'm not in my clear mind yet and so there are a few gaps when it comes to what happened tonight"
"Yeah, what's the question? Why you're not wearing shorts?"
"Well- yeah. How did you know that that's what I meant?"
"It was the only logical 'weird' question right now. But, we didn't do anything if that's what made you scared"
"No, I wasn't scared about that. I wasn't scared at all, I just wondered why"
"Okay, well- you just said you were too hot and that's why you didn't want to put one on. You didn't even want to take off your jeans in the first place"
"Oh, okay. I hope I didn't make any problems"
"No, no, absolutely not."

"Okay but there's one thing I remember from yesterday"
"Okay, which is?"
"I won our competition"
"Oh man, don't remind me"
"Yes, I have to. I know we didn't really say what the winner earns, right?"
"Mhm"
"Let's say I have one wish free because I won, yeah?"
"Uhm, yeah, okay I guess. And what do you wish?"
"I wish that we have a date night today"
"A date?"
"Sí, if you want"
"Of course I want to. But I should start thinking where we are going then"
"No, you do nothing. I'll take you out, not you me. I'd say just be ready at about 6.30 tonight and I'll get you"
"But-"
"No but, that's my wish, Bellina"
"Uhm- yeah, okay. But it's just like I won the battle now"
"It wasn't a battle, Bambina. Just a friendly game between- più che amici"
"Pio te a what?"
"Più che amici"
"What's that?"
"I won't tell you this one."
"Oh come on"
"Nope, sorry. What time is it now?"
"It's almost 2"
"Alright, I'll go now and get Jeff and we see us tonight?"
"No, why do you leave already?"
"I have to get ready for our date. And so do you"
"But I'll miss you too much"
"I'm sure you'll survive, Bella. It's only a bit more than 4 hours."
"I don't want you to leave"
"I know but you'll have me all night. We're going to my place afterward"
"Oh, you can just decide that?"
"You don't want to come?"
"No, of course, I want to. But I have to work tomorrow"
"Yeah, so do I, stupida. We have scenes together"
"Wait, really?"
"Yes, Danielle. Haven't you learned your lines yet?"
"Uh- no I have. Just not all of them."
"Perfect, now you have something to fill the time with so you don't miss me too much. And I'll go now, otherwise, I'm not going to be ready in time and I have to shower too."
"You can shower here"
"Bambina"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But doesn't your head hurt anymore?"
"Only a little bit, I'll survive. It'll be gone until later. And now stop distracting me."
"Wait, one more question."
"Hm?"
"What should I wear?"
"Just- well you look good in everything. But I'll guess just wear something nice but not too nice."
"How am I supposed to know what to wear now? That's the crappiest description of clothes I've ever gotten."
"Just do with that what you want. I'm sure you'll figure something out"
