As Hinagiku and Hayate arrived Hinagiku stopped Hayate before they went in. “Let me tell you this Don't you dare be do anything perverted or I swear I'll end you.” She said seriously as Hayate couldn't help but die of laughter. Hinagiku got mad and asked “Hayate What's so funny?! ” She asked clenching her fist. Hayate looked up wiping his tears of laughter off. “It's nothing Hinagiku-San just... I can't believe you thought I what yo peak on you.” He said calmly
While Hayate though what he said was normal Hinagiku took it as an offense. She pulled out a crystal sword pointing towards Hayate. “So I'm not worth looking at!?!” She said irritated. Hayate grabbed her sword and looked her in the eyes. “I never said that I meant I wasn't a perv but if you want I'll be your stocker from now on... and I'll never let you escape because you'll be my se- ” he said trying to tease Hinagiku as She smacked him on the head with the flat part of the blade.
She looked at him in chibi form with a blank expression as She started to walk off. Hayate ran after her asking “What too obvious? ” he asked never getting a response. Hinagiku walked inside as Hayate did the same. “Wait here I don't know if they'll even let you stay. ” Hinagiku said as She walked off into the kitchen.
Hayate stood there admiring Hinagiku's house. While Hayate stood there admiring Hinagiku walked into the kitchen to see her step mother cooking. “I'm back mom ” She said as She sat at the table starring at her. She turned to look at Hinagiku. “Hello dear you look upset what happened.” She asked sincerely. “Well you see...my friend got um.. kicked out of the only place he had to stay... and I was wondering... ” Hinagiku was cut of by her mother.
“Say No more I would love your boyfriend to stay with us.” Hinagikus mother said with excitement. “Really thats great.” Hinagiku said walking off. Before She left the kitchen She turned around blushing a crimson red. “BO-BO-BO- BOYFRIEND?!?!? WHEN DID I EVER SAY THAT AND I DIDN'T EVEN SAY OF IT WAS A GUY OR NOT!!!! ”
Hinagikus mother laughed and pointed towards towards the window in the kitchen. “I saw you two arguing as if you guys where already married. ” She said teasingly. Hinagiku still blushing walked off towards Hayate who was arranging some books know the shelf for some odd reason. “Hayate Why are you doing that?” Hinagiku in chibi form with her blank expression. Hayate turned around “As the senza.. Oh wait I'm not Nagis Butler anymore...” he said in a depressed tone.
The air was filled with a depressing silence. Hinagiku's mother walked in breaking the silence. “Hello might you be my little Hana-Chans boyfriend.. or have you already gone past that point? ” She asked as happy as can be. Hayate blushed and freaked out. “wh-wh-wh-wh I-I-I ” Hayate panicked to comes up with an answer. Hinagiku pulled her mother into the kitchen. “Mom stop your embarrassing me!” She pleaded. Her mother gave her a smile “I'm just teasing you guys Hana-Chan.”
Hinagiku stared at her mother and walked back to Hayate. She saw him blushing and it seemed he was deep in thought. She slapped his back which made him jump. “what the hell you scared me!” Hayate said in a mad tone. Hinagiku laughed and replied “Payback sucks don't if?” Hayate looked at her “Payback?! When did I do something to you?!” he asked. Hinagiku giggled and grabbed Hayates hand and pulled him along into the Kitchen.
Hayate was then ambushed by Hinagikus Mother. “I have one question and I want your honest opinion.” Hinagikus mother asked Hayate in a polite Yet serious tone. Hinagiku was about to pull her mother but Hayate gave her a signal that he would handle this. Hinagiku then acted as if She walked upstairs but hid behind a wall close enough to them so She could hear. “wait Why am I listening Why should I care what they talk about?” Hinagiku thought to herself.
She then walked up the stairs but what she heard made her stop. “Hayate-Kun what do you think of my Hana-Chan? and please be honest.” Hinagikus mother asked. Hayate blushed a deep red. He didnt really have a special feelings for Hinagiku but he did tresure her as a good friend. “Well Ms to be completely honest.... I dont know just yet...I definately am glad I met Hinagiku and I enjoy being with her... I might even like her bu-” Hayate was interrupted by Hinagikus mother putting her finger over his mouth. “Thats enough for now now lets eat. ” Hinagikus mother said.
Himagiku, Hayate, and Hinagikus mother sat down and began to eat. After eating and chatting for a while. After cleaning up Hayate washed the dishes. Hinagikus mother stood next to him. “Would you like to sleep with Hana-Chan?” she asked. “Oh Yea sure....WAIT WHAT?!” he replied. Hinagikus mother giggled. “I was just kidding you can sleep in the guest room.” she said.
After flopping down on the bed Hayate smiled. “I guess this wont be so bad...” Hayate thought before passing out.
