'Isolated, bitter, lost, alone, there comes a time in every man's life when these emotions swallow them whole, when life itself conspires to keep everything you want away from you, when at these times when you want them, they leave you, when these walls of relationships, trust, hope, which you held so dear, come crashing down on each other while you desperately try to hold them together, when all you have to be grateful for is life that you had till now. What do you do? What do you do?' The leader sat in his chair, the council was falling apart. The Dark Forces were for the first time falling apart. The council fighting childishly among themselves, no one able to come to a definite conclusion. The leader hated this. He hated everyone. "Silence, let the leader speak his most esteemed opinion." One of the council who went by the name of Earshel said. The leader looked up, the dozen faces of the council stared at him, the fighting was a thing of the past now. "Let the shipments arrive escorted by the monster." The leader spoke. "But sire, the monster is uncontrollable, it cannot be tamed." One of the council by the name of Barrock said. "When you first arrived in the council, Barrock, hadn't you said that you would make the impossible possible for as long as you are in my service?" The leader said "Was it all lies, a filthy lie told to win my favor, Barrock." The leader looked, across the dark council table, at Barrock, lifelessness in his eyes "Or has your loyalty to my mission faded? Is it anything like that Barrock?" "No, my lord, nothing of the sort." Barrock said, perspiring profusely. The leader concentrated on the single drop of sweat tracing Barrock's eyebrow. A single beam of light and Barrock screamed. A scream that would echo in the halls of darkness for ages to come.
The leader walked out of the council room and there he was, the shadow of the dark city.
"So you got the scientist." The leader said without another look at him.
"Actually I killed him." The shadow replied.
"You know I need him." The leader looked at him "Why do you kill them? That too always."
"They are insects."
"You realise that these insects can help us." Leader rolled his eyes. Whatever he said, he knew that the shadow would continue.
"I got the device." The shadow tossed a breifcase at the leader. The leader dodged it. The breifcase fell with a loud thud.
"Give it to one of the council." The leader said walking away.
"I'm not your puppet, you asked for the device, I got it." The shadow walked beside the leader.
"And it is also implied that you ensure it goes to the right person and I'm not that person." The leader stopped in his tracks and looked coldly at the shadow.
"You and I stand on equal footing." The shadow put his hand on the leader and his hand began to glow. There was a big explosion which shook the whole castle of the dark forces but when the smoke cleared, the leader was still standing. Even the cloak he had worn was not incinerated but the shadow was on the floor, paralysed.
"Be glad that you're just paralysed." The leader went down on one knee and looked directly at the shadow "Remember that you are the embodiment of dark and that I am the emperor of darkness. You are a mere servant. Act like it." The leader left the corridor while the shadow stayed, unable to move.

A lone figure was seen walking down to the dungeons of the dark castle. The figure had worn a cloak with a hood over his head. The figure opened a door which lead him towards a river. The dark castle was built on top of a river which was much like a brigde between the river banks.
"Prepare the demon." The figure yelled. Five figures appeared as though they had formed from the dark, holding chains. They left the chains and immediately the chains went right into the river. A large shelled figure was seen going with the current of the river, going to places unknown.

"Hey Oliver." The General said, stopping in front of another farm "Is this the house of the fast person?"
"Yeah. He will come with us, no challenges or anything." Oliver said.
"Yeah let's go meet him." The General went towards the farmhouse.
"Actually wait. You go down the docks. I'll meet with this guy. You go and organise the crew that would sail the boat. Expect me at dawn tomorrow." Oliver gulped. The fast man was a bit of a work in progress but Oliver was sure that he would come without making such a fuss.
"You said you had a crew ready." The General protested.
"I said I had a ship." Oliver said.
"I thought you were asking for the exorbitant amount because of a last minute crew." The General said.
"No the amount was for a last minute warship." Oliver kept his eyes fixed on the farm.
"I wanted a ship not a warship." The General sighed.
"General I am a person who has always pleased his customers. You are going to a war, you need a warship not a normal ship." Oliver said with a straight face.
"A warship means more crew. You are burning a hole in my pocket." The General reasoned.
"Anything for the world, general, anything for the world."
Suddenly a cloud of dust rose up in the farm.
"That's my cue general. I've got to talk to a friend. You go find a crew and also get a magician. You're gonna need one of those." Oliver walked towards the farm. The General reluctantly walked back onto his horse. 'I only hope we're not too late or none of this will matter. My dear brother please stop this, please end this. Please. I beg of you.'

'Brother I will create a world where you will not oppose me. Where you will understand. Where we will rise together.' The leader of the dark forces looked at the field. His vast army stared back at him. 'The revolution is here. And this time, it will benefit us.'
