Breakfast was awkward for the young prince. The feeling of multiple pairs of eyes staring holes right through him was dehumanizing. Especially the suffocating stare his father had locked on him at all times. Analysing every action and word he spoke. The king was just waiting for George to mess something up.

The air was thick with judgement and George was well aware, he hadn't given the best first impression to his guests and future wife. He had shown up remarkably late with a dramatic uncalled for enterance. However the leering judgement and unimpressed scoffs hadn't lasted much longer after food had been served. Everyone becoming preoccupied with digging into the banquet Schlatt had promised.

"So Prince Toby, It's been a little while how have you been holding up?" The Queen smiled happily, through mouthfuls of food. Aiming her cheerful question at the younger Prince as she leaned ever so slightly on the table in order to be heard over the abundance of chatting.

By now the elongated table was split into many small groups. All of which, partaking in their own feeble conversations. Most of the food had begun to vanish, being eaten by the hoards of guests, so by now the majority of the the people around the table were either gossiping about the newly announced couple; or reconnecting with friends and acquaintances they hadn't seen in a long while.

Queen Puffy had met Prince Tubbo many years ago, just before tragedy struck. Merely months before the Queen, Toby's mother's devistating assassination. Which came as a surprise to the kingdoms people and nobles alike. Striking fear and uncertainty all through the land. It was the main cause for His Majesty's spiral into corruption and becoming the pitiful man he was today. The event was what began Schlatts reign of terror and kingdoms fall from grace.

The young prince had very vivid memories of the queen and her two children. From what he could remember, the woman had 2 sons who were both noticeably older than him. Tubbo could only recollect a few moments from the joyous summer they had spent together all those years ago. He must have been about 6 at the time, while Puffy's sons were around the ages of 9 and 10, meaning they were more boisterous and difficult for Toby to play with. So instead he spent a lot of the time, timidly sitting at his Mothers side. The last time he would be at his mothers side.

However only weeks after the late Queens demise, George had begun his training. He was able to escape his past and being adopted into the family as prince Tubbos personal Knight in the making had saved the boy from certain death. Schlatt had good intentions, protecting his son from something of the sort. Suffering through a similar fate of his late wife, so a personal Knight who could be there to protect the prince at all times, as well as act as a friend for him was the finest option.

George was always a very talented child. A prodogy some may say, and as he exceeded rapidly, being knighted years before his time George had achieved his goles. He was knighted only a few days after his fourteenth birthday, more than two years before schedule, alongside Wilbur who was knighted just a few days before him. The pair were close during their training years and Wilburs kind words to his father about the Orphan was what had captured the Kings attention at the very beginning.

Eventually His Majesty had finally given up hope of having any other suitable heirs. Or at least biologically, and on paper, George was perfect. Talented in all the ways a prince needed to be, exceeding his peers without a doubt and easily mouldable into the perfect son His Majesty could wish for. George had it all, even from a young age the orphan was eye catching. His Pale complexion and beautiful features were regularly complimented and gossiped about. He was to grow up to be one of the finest men in the kingdom.

After a long while of hesitation, once Tubbo had registered what The Queen had asked, the young prince swiftly turned his attention to peer at his brother nervously. George gave him a small smile and a quick nod, beckoning his brother to speak. So he did, "It's been different." Tubbo said quietly, clearly debating if his words would anger his father.
