"Jimmy, ive landed. Where are you?" she asked, voice filling with anxiety. Kas hated flying, she also hated airports. the place was packed with impertinent people simply trying to get from point a to point b.

"We are at Gate D, waiting for you. Karl is at the warehouse with Chris doing a video thing. I told them i wouldn't be gone too long. Maddy is in the car, how far away are you?" he rambled down his line. he was excited yet anxious about the main reason on filming this video.

the plan was for Chris and Karl to finish a random video while he ran some errands with Maddy. while there were some errands necessary to be done, his main task was to pick up Karl's childhood best friend. he'd do a Mr. Beast gaming video with a special guest. she'd be set up in place of Chandler, whom was busy with last minute family matters anyway, but she'd be sat at Chris' set up.

the excuse would be that Chris' setup wasn't working so he had to play at Chandler's. Kassandra would log into her account on Chris' setup and act like she was at her abode in Chicago. at the end of the video, Jimmy would film her surprising Karl.

this video had been in the making for months. they had to make sure everyone's schedules were open, plane tickets were available, etc. before confirming everything. once everything was in place, it was time to execute the plan that had been set in stone in early February; yes, February.

"I see you! Let's get out if here before im run down by another impatient son of a bitch." Kas complained before running towards the man. she luckily was unnoticed by any fans as they walked towards the car.

"How are you, it's been so long." Jimmy laughed.

"It's been great! Addy, my girlfriend, is flying out in a few days to meet Karl in person. He's been dying to meet her for some time now." Kas laughed. the pair conversed the entire ride home.

Maddy and Kassandra got along well. a lot better than Jimmy had expected. when they arrived at the warehouse, Kassandra and Jimmy said goodbye to Maddy before sneaking inside. Jimmy snuck Kassandra to the gaming room so she could log in secretly while Jimmy went to find Karl and Chris. they finished that planned video smoothly before transitioning into this one.

the video took a while to film since there were some technical problems with the server. Karl was suspicious on why they hadn't used discord and used FaceTime instead, though he didn't question it much more as he had just wanted to finish filming.

"How tall are you, Kassandra?" Jimmy asked towards the end of the filming session. the call had gone rather quiet, the silence filing with an occasional yawn or groan of annoyance.

"Five seven." Karl answered quickly before realizing he did just that. "Sorry, you weren't asking me."

"Karl, it's fine. Honestly i had no clue, so you answering was fine. Stop apologizing dimwit." Kassandra laughed making Karl giggle.

"You're not that tall." Chris joked.

"It's above average for females, so suck my cock asshat."

"Well, Addy won't like that one."

"Addy only likes me, so no she probably wont like sharing." Kassandra boasted proudly.

"She shares with me!" Karl exclaimed.

"Addy loves you, obviously she'll share with you." Kassandra replied, rolling her eyes with a small laugh.

the recording finally ended and she made a fake excuse to leave the call. she went silent so Jimmy's mic wouldn't pick up any sounds.

"Are we free to go?" Karl asked quietly.

"I need to talk to you guys in private for a few minutes. Come on over and then you're free to go."Jimmy answered, signaling for her to stand behind the door. she shuffled towards the door, anxiety building up.

Kas was exhausted, drained, and ready to see her best friend whom she hasn't seen for over a year, something she's never had to do before.

"We're here." Chris said excitedly. Karl grunted as he shut the door Chris had just opened.

"What's up?" Karl asked, rubbing his eyes. he hadn't even noticed Chris and Jimmy filming Kassandra who stood behind him.

"You look drained man." Jimmy pointed out, concern lacing his voice for his friend.

"I am, i drank my last monster before i came in and it wore off a bit ago."

"Good thing i have an entire case in my luggage. That was really embarrassing to explain to the security guard if im honest." Kassandra replied.

"Hi, Kassy." Karl mumbled before the realization dawned on him. "Wait, wait, is she on the phone? Is that why you guys are pointing your phones at me? Wait what's going on?" Karl rambled, waking up his brain a bit more.

"Turn around, nimrod." Kassandra said.

"Oh im gonna cry. Guys im gonna cry."

"Turn around man!" Chandler yelled from one of the two men's phones. Karl turned around and saw the one person whom he'd missed more than anything in the world.

"KAS!" He yelled, running up to her and hugging her. while the distance was short between them, he still ran as if it was miles away.

"Hi Karl." she whispered as her feet were lifted off the ground. by the end of it the pair were crying and Karl couldn't keep himself from hugging her or keeping her close at all times. he needed the reassurance that it was real, and not a dream he'd fallen for one too many times.
