Anayah's Pov:

"Anayah baby please just let me explain" She said walking towards me. I backed away stumbling a bit before regaining my balance.

"You really think deserve any of my time? I scoffed.

"Please Ny it's for your safety"

"Bullshit get out" I said pointing towards the door.

"Ma just let her talk" Rashiid spoke softly.

"Please" she begged.

"Go on"

"Anayah it's not safe out here I need you to come back to Jamaica with me I need to know that your safe, as your mother-"

"Pardon?! AS MY MOTHER, first of all you blamed my brothers death on me, something I had no control over, THEN you kick me out and leave me to fend for myself AND LETS NOT FORGET THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ME IN A WHOLE YEAR you are definitely not my mother"

"I know I know and i'm really sorry but your brother was not what you think he was he was dangerou-"

"I honestly do not want to hear it so you can keep your sorry and leave"

"Nya bear please I can't bare to know that your gonna get cause up in some dangerous things out here please just come with me" she pleaded calling me by my childhood nickname.

"Nah i'm good" I walked up to her and led her to the door.

"I'm here for a few more days if you change your mind please call me, I love you" she turns around saying as she walked out.

"I love you to but I don't want anything to do with you no more" I said shutting the door.

Resting my head on the door, I took a deep breath and turned back around I looked at Rashiid but didn't say anything I just made my way upstairs.

I sat on the bed cupping my face, trying to avoid tears from running down my face.

"Yo Anayah" I looked up to see Rashiid standing at the door. "come here"

I huffed before standing up and walking over to him.

"My bad" He apologised, pulling me towards him. I buried my face into his chest. "I didn't know she was your mum, i'm sorry mama"

I pulled away from the hug and looked up at him "It's fine don't worry"

"You gonna be ight?

"Yeah, it was just mad seeing her I guess and then all that shit she was talking but imma be good" I shrugged about to walk away but was stopped by Rashiid pulling me back by my waist.

He wrapped his arms around me hugging me from the back "I got you babygirl" He whispered into my ears.

"I appreciate it" I said turning around and kissing him on his lips. "Now come lay down with me pleaseee" I cheesed batting my lashes.
