I looked over to the other side of the bed, where Anayah slept peacefully. Tying my best not to disturb her I got up out the bed and walked into the bathroom.

I hopped in the shower and let the hot water beat against my back as my thoughts ran through my mind.

Once I finished, I walked into my closet that was attached to the bathroom and began to get dressed.

I went back into the bedroom and saw Anayah sitting up in the bed. I leant against the wall and watched as she gracefully packed her hair into a bun.

Dam this girl is beautiful.

She looked up and realised that I was watching her 'Stop watching me weirdo' she chuckled.

'Ain't no one watching your ugly ass'
I lied walking up to the side table and picking up my keys and phone.

'Yhyh but where you going?'

'Out'

'And wheres out?'

'I'm a grown man stop asking me questions' I huffed, stuffing my gun into my waist.

'Okay well can you take me home please'

'For what?'

'Because I want to be in the comfort of my own home'

'Nah your staying here, it's not safe for you to be there right now'

'Bro I said your staying here, and even though I killed my man this shit is deeper than you think'

She didn't say anything she just screwed me.

'Don't screw me but here' I threw her phone next to her 'I'm going to meet the mandem but call me if you need me'

'Inabit, and don't leave this house i'm being serious'

I kissed my teeth and walked out the door.
