Anayah's pov: I Moan as my alarm goes off. I picked up my phone and checked the date.
'Saturday 03 March'
A year since Destiny died.
Dam. It's been a year. I didn't really know how to feel. I miss my brother that was my best friend but it's like when he died I didn't grieve properly I just sucked up all my emotions so I did't seem 'weak'. I felt anger instead of sadness. But now the more I think about the more my emotions eat me up.
I spent half the week sleeping, I had no motivation what so ever. Everything just seemed like such an effort.
After a lot of procrastination I finally got out of bed and decided to get ready and do something to distract myself.
I walked into my bathroom and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I looked like a mess. I hadn't slayed my face and hair since I went to that link up with Rashiid.
'Alexa play my shower playlist' I commanded as I hopped into the shower.
