I didn't want to leave my room the next morning.

Last night I had locked myself and Leo in our room. I had put up protection barriers around my room and checked them multiple times before even thinking about going to sleep. Around 8:00 am one of the Summer pack wolves came to our room, knocking on the door. I sit up immediately and waited to see if they will continue knocking and they do. Getting out of bed and walking over to the door, I take down the barrier on the door and slowly open it. I poke my head out the door and am met with a smiling Kiomi.

"Hey, good morning. I just wanted to tell you that breakfast is ready downstairs in the ballroom whenever you're ready, but it only runs until 11:00," she looks at me, particularly the tiredness on my face and my messy hair, "you look rough."

I glare at her as she laughs. "Be quiet, I don't want to talk about it," I grumble while trying to wipe the last bits of sleep from my eyes. "I'll meet you down in a few minutes I have to fix myself and get Leo up."

"Ok, I'll see you down there," she says as she walks next door to Sawyer's room and does the same routine.

"Good morning, I just wanted to-,"

Kiomi cuts herself off, no doubt because of Sawyer. They exchange a few uncertain looks before Kiomi shakes out of it.

"I'm sorry, excuse me," she mutters before rushing down the hallways. I look at Sawyer who has a ghost of a smile on his face that would be hard to see if you weren't looking for it.

I retreat back into my room and shut the door, leaning against it.

Leo is sleeping peacefully on the bed and I feel bad disturbing him, but I know he'll be grumpy the rest of the day if he doesn't eat. I lightly shake him until he's awake. When he sits up in the bed he has a frown/pout on his face and I chuckle lightly.

"Come on let's get ready to go get breakfast," I say as I pick him up from the bed and take him into the bathroom.

I fix his hair into a little man bun in the back of his head and brush his teeth. I change him into a pair of khaki shorts and a navy blue short sleeve t-shirt with a green dinosaur on it.

"Now I'm going to get ready, go and sit down on the bed please," I ask him.

"Okay, but don't take too long, I'm hungry," he says.

"Okay, okay, I'll be quick," I promise as I walk over to my suitcase.

I grab a pair of black flowy pants that go down to my ankles, a long sleeve cream-colored turtle neck top, and a light tan coat. I go to the bathroom to change. I strip from my sleep clothes and put on my turtle neck, tucking it into my pants, and string a black belt through the pant loops. I decided to leave the coat in the room for now just because we were inside. I brush my teeth and wet my hair in the shower so that I can put my products in to make the curls look better. Once I'm done I put on a pair of nude flats that slightly point at the end.

I look at myself in the mirror, make my last touches on my hair and straighten out any wrinkles in my clothes.

I walk out of the bathroom 10 minutes later looking better than when I woke up.

"Finally your out. Now let's go eat food," Leo says as he grabs my hand and pulls me towards the door. Once we're outside in the hall Leo walks over to Sawyers room and knocks on his door. Sawyer opens it and looks at me and I direct my eyes to Leo.

'Look at him not me' I say through the mind link.

As Sawyer looks down at Leo, Leo grabs his hand hand and begins to drag both of us down the stairs to where breakfast is. I look over to Sawyer and look over his outfit. He's wearing a long-sleeve green button-up shirt that is rolled up to below his elbow. The buttons of the shirt are not buttoned up so it reveals a white undershirt. He's paired it with a pair of medium wash jeans and a tan pair of Timberland boots.
