Dear Diary,
Holy shit. I- oh, my dear lord this morning was a time. When Josh got back from his shower, I helped him pick out an outfit and I didn't even realize he was only wearing a towel around his waist! I was staring at him, and he was biting his lip???? I wanted to kiss him so bad! I'm actually going insane. I had to go to the bathroom to calm down, but I started panicking when I got there. I'm so screwed. He's gonna hate me if he finds out I like him.... If he hasn't figured it out yet. I can't fuck this up.... I finally have something good here.
I was interrupted by our teacher starting our lesson. I closed my diary and started paying attention to the teacher. Every so often, I would look at Josh. He was very fidgety, constantly bouncing his leg, or fiddling his thumbs. When class was over, I asked him if he was okay.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm great!" he responded joyfully.
I didn't believe him. I knew something was up, but I decided not to push it.
Throughout the day, I noticed the boys acting weird. They all seemed incredibly excited for something, smiling widely at Josh and I every chance they got. I chose not to think much of it, though, because the boys were known for being silly sometimes.
At the end of the day, I met Josh at his locker. He came downstairs from Hall D with Braden and Lukas, who both gave him friendly shoves to the shoulder when they saw me. I gave Josh a questioning look, only to receive a shrug in response, so I disregarded the boys' silliness.
"How'd you think of going to Ivory for dinner?" Josh asked as we walked to the bus.
"God, Josh, that place is expensive! I haven't been there since... my 11th birthday, before my mom got pregnant with Daniel..." I gasped.
"I want to treat you!" Josh explained, shrugging.
"Are you sure..?" I asked.
"Very," Josh smiled.
I nodded with a smile on my face. I thought nothing of the odd behaviour I had noticed throughout the day.

Dear Diary,
Josh and I are on our way back to his house now. We're going to Ivory for dinner. Sometimes I forget how wealthy Josh is. Like, it's just a regular day and we're going to the nicest restaurant in the whole town. I'll have to get changed... I'm not wearing something suitable for a place like Ivory...
When Josh and I got back, I immediately began working on my homework, as did Josh. After I finished my math work, I rushed to find something else to wear. I frantically went through my closet and dresser, struggling to decide on an outfit.
Josh came into my room and stood next to me. I watched as he went through my closet, pulling out the black dress I had worn the day Josh and I went on our first "date". He smiled as he handed it to me. The boy then reached towards the back of the closet, grabbing my pink cardigan. Quietly, Josh left me to get dressed.
I slid out of the clothes I was wearing and began putting the dress on. I looked at myself in the mirror, smiling as I was reminded of the last time I wore that dress. I remembered the feeling in my stomach I got when I opened the door, seeing Josh standing there. It was that night, sitting on the bench in Elizabeth Harrington park when I realized I was in love with him.
I opened the door so Josh knew he could come in before trying to figure out what to do with my hair. Only a moment later, Josh appeared in the doorway. He stepped in, stopping briefly as his eyes landed on me.
