Chapter 4- Sasuke's feeling

It's been a week since I am living here... I'm adapting to the life here in Konoha slowly... But it still feels like a dream. 

Everything happened too fast. Even now... I still don't know if I'm really alive or not. The only thing I know is, I NEED to get home! But I don't know how. Heck, I don't even know how I got here!

"Yumi-nee, do you want to play hide and seek with me?" I looked over at the innocent, big onyx eyes staring up at me. 

"I don't mind... But I don't know any ninjutsu so don't get too disappointed, okay?" I shrugged with a small smile.

Sasuke grinned as he jumped on his little feet. "Okay! Let's go!!!" He pulled onto my arm, trying to pull me up.

"Hai-hai." I sighed as I stood up slowly just as Mikoto came into view with a laundry basket. "Mikoto-san, we're going out to play hide and seek. You wouldn't mind, would you?" 

Itachi's family have been like my guardian ever since I arrived here. I'm grateful that they have been taking care of me but I'm not so used to asking for permission to go out. I can't go anywhere without permission but there's nothing here for me to do so I just sit on the porch and wait for time to pass. Sometimes I'll help Mikoto with some chores around the house to pass time, other times she wouldn't let me help with anything.

I don't have anyone to spar. Itachi usually running here and there for his missions. I'm surprised that they send 13 year olds out on missions, let alone travel to far places on their own! This place sure is weird!

But then again... This place is nowhere near the word normal. Ninjas. I mean, who would think ninjas are real?! Not in a million years right?! 

Yet, here I am. Living with a town full of ninjas!

"Yes. Please don't stay out too late." Mikoto smiled.

I looked at Sasuke, who flashed me a wide grin as we both nodded.

"Phew... You're good, Sasuke." I ruffled his hair as we headed home. I had hid in the tree with the most branches and leaves, yet he was still able to find me.

"Hehehe, because nii-san taught me where to look!" Sasuke beamed proudly.

I couldn't help but smile at him. "You must really love your brother."

"Yes! I love nii-san! I want to grow up to be like nii-san one day!!" Sasuke said happily but his smile soon dropped. "But... Father won't acknowlege me... He's always praising nii-san, no matter what I do, Father never acknowledges it. I can never be as great as nii-san..."

His Father never... acknowledges him..? He's comparing himself to Itachi...

"Hey, Sasuke. You know, I think you are pretty awesome yourself! You just haven't realize it yet and I'm pretty sure your Father will acknowledge you one day when you get older." I grinned and picked him up.

"Really?! Do you really think so?!" I nodded. "You're not cheering me up, are you?"

He looked away from me and stared at the ground.

"Oh, trust me. I'm not cheering you up. Besides, who knows what kind of amazing things you can do when you get older. Everyone grows in a different way, so don't be so sad about not being like Itachi. I'm sure deep down somewhere, Itachi is envious of you."

"But what do I have that Itachi is envious of? I mean nii-san is good at everything while I'm not."

Goodness, I have never seen a kid who thinks this much before.

"You know... A kid like you shouldn't be thinking so much about these things!" I scolded, pinching his cheek.

"Ow. Ow. Ow!"

"Compared to your brother, you are much more adorable and fun-loving!" I smiled and set him on the ground. "Just be yourself, and you'll be fine."

Sasuke looked at my with his large onyx eyes. "Okay! I'll be myself and surpass nii-san!"

"That's more like it! I'll race you home!" I said as I took off running, not too fast of course. Just slow enough so he can catch up.

"Hey, no fair! You cheated!" He pouted.

I laughed. "I never said I was fair!"

Hey guys. I know it's been awhile since I updated, sorry xD I have a lot going on right now {College-ACT-Testing-Schoolwork-Work} But I've been writing stories down on papers, just too lazy to type them up recently. X~ X I need to step my game up xD I'm working on a Kuroko no Basket - Akashi Seijuro fanfiction :D But I'm jumping all over the places right now. I'm barely done writing the beginning of the story and I'm already jumping to the ending and the middle of the story @.@ So yesh, feel free to flip tables on me <3
