Bakugou never understood the hype around a birthday. It was just another day that he survived. His friends, however, were very passionate about birthdays. He learned that when the year before they had thrown him a huge surprise party. He was very thankful to have them as friends and sure he enjoyed himself, but it just wasn't his thing.
Bakugou had talked to Kirishima about plans the week before and had agreed on something small with just the Bakusquad. He hated to admit it, but he loved those idiots probably more than life itself. He had a very "if you fuck with my idiots you fuck with me" vibe going on when it came to them.
They were all on board with it as well because as long as they could show Bakugou a good time on his birthday, they were happy!
In early afternoon, gifts were given and then the squad was off to the mall. They got boba and then just went where ever. Bakugou and Shinsou enjoyed their visit to Hot Topic, Denki and Kirishima enjoyed the visit to Game Stop, Mina asked a cute girl out (the date was the coming Saturday), and Sero, along with Denki, and Kirishima, were all over the candy shop.
After the visit to the mall, the group got a late lunch at a restaurant that had opened recently, and then headed back to the dorms around 4 pm. The group then split off to do their own thing while Kirishima and Bakugou retreated to Bakugou's dorm.
They spent the rest of the evening playing mario kart and animal crossing. Around 8:30, when the sun had completely set and Bakugou was starting to get a little tired, they set down the games and turned on the tv. (you can choose what they watched but i think it would be nice if it was a rewatch of wandavision uwu)
Bakugou was positioned on top of Kirishima, letting the scent of citrus and cinnamon take over his world. He closed his eyes as he nuzzled up against Kirishima's (well actually Bakugou's) soft hoodie. He felt Kirishima lightly kiss the top of him head and he hummed in return.
"D'you enjoy yourself today?" Kirishima spoke sweetly and softly.
Bakugou just nodded and hummed, answering "yes" without verbalizing.
Kiri's hand brushed through Bakugou's hair. "Good. You know we all care a lot about you," He replied, referring to the squad of crackheads Bakugou somehow ended up being apart of.
Bakugou looked up to meet Kirishima's sweet, cherry red eyes. He leaned up, Kirishima leaned down, and their lips met. They pulled away and Bakugou continued to cuddle close to Kirishima.
"Happy Birthday, Kat," Kiri started, rubbing his hand up and down and in circular motions all over the older males back "I love you," He finished.
"I love you too, Ei," Bakugou mumbled, falling asleep as the sounds of the tv, the smell of Kirishima, and the softness of the one he loved, engulfed his senses and put him in a state of serenity.
A/N) yes im uploading this at night but yanno its still 4/20 so its still bakugous birthday. Happy Birthday to Bakugou!!!!!!!
