Kirishima heard the little jingle that sounded every time someone opened the door. Given the time, he knew exactly who it was! He looked up from the counter he was currently wiping off. "Good morning, Bakugou!" He called out. Walking over to the cash register to take his order. Being literally the only one there to do shit. "What can I get for you this fine morning?"
"Eh, just the regular"
"Alrighty then!" He went to the coffee maker and starting brewing. (you can headcanon what drink he ordered but i like to think hed enjoy a good caramel macchiato uwu)
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Kirishima piped up just for some nice casual banter. "so how's college work?" (yes this takes place in college)
"The usual. Deku being annoying all the time, keeping grades up, parties. Lots of parties. As for work in specific we've got an annoying ass project comin' up on the due date that I've barely started but I'll probably pull an all nighter to do that," He stated.
"You shouldn't do that Bakugou. Take it from someone with personal experience. It's not that forgiving," He spoke, chuckling lightly afterwards.
"Yeah yeah I know. We've all been there haven't we?"
"For real man"
More comfortable silence.
"Hey my friend Mina's throwing a party Saturday-," He was cut off.
"You know Mina?"
"Oh shit you know her too?! She never told me she knew you!"
"I guess Mina is pretty popular so a lot of people know her but knowing someone and being friends with them are 2 different things"
"Yeah. So you'll be at that party?"
"When did you say it was again?" Kirishima turned and handed Bakugou his coffee.
Bakugou took the coffee. "Saturday"
"Saturday..." He trailed off, thinking about if he had anything planned that day "Sure I'll be there!" He finished strong with a smile.
"Good"
Bakugou payed and the two sat and chatted. They created a group chat between friend groups that consisted of Bakugou, Kirishima, Denki, Sero, and Mina.
Their conversation finished after Bakugou had ordered a second cup of coffee and the bell on the door jingled, signaling someones arrival.
"Well, I don't have a shift tomorrow so see you Saturday!" Kirishima finished the conversation with a large grin.
"Sounds good. See you Saturday"
