Y/n was one of Lady Eboshi's warriors. He was one of the newer recruits to help against the samurai that tried to attack New Iron Town, although he wasn't as good as one would expect.

He was forced to use a sword. Sure, he could use a bow, but using daggers was an issue. His friend, Ashitaka, had suggested many times for Y/n to get some lessons from a person who has used dagger and spears all her life, but because Y/n was always shy, he always escaped from going to her.

Ashitaka couldn't take it anymore and basically dragged him to the Forest (with Lady Eboshi's permission) and brought him to the Forest.

When in the Forest, Ashitaka continued leading Y/n deeper and deeper.

Eventually, two wolf Cubs and a girl appeared. Y/n recognised the girl as Princess Mononoke, the one who Ashitaka saved Iron Town with.

"Hey San!" Ashitaka smiled at his friend. The Wolf Girl smiled as she got off the back of her brother's. She smiled at Ashitaka and looked at Y/n.

"You must be Y/n L/n. Ashitaka told me about you. He told me you'll be staying here for a while until you learn how to fight properly." San spoke. Y/n blushed. Her voice sounded so beautiful to his ears, she looked absolutely beautiful. He nodded slowly before bowing. "I'd be honoured to be trained by you, Princess Mononoke." He said quickly.

San looked surprised. "Just San is fine."

Y/n nodded. "I-I'm sorry."
"It's alright."

After Ashitaka left, training began. At first, Y/n was doing so badly, that San face palmed several times. She started showing him techniques with swords and daggers and spears.

Each time, Y/n began progressing with more and more practice. San began getting more and more proud. Y/n was improving by the second.

"Today, you'll be facing me!" San smirked. She brought out her dagger and smiled. "Get ready, Y/n/n."
Then they began.
She tried slashing at him, but he blocked several of them. San tried different tactics but Y/n blocked them all. He had become almost a master for these few weeks.

One could hardly believe it.

San tried to sweep his feet, but Y/n jumped and flipped San on her back. Y/n straddled San's waist and held the sword at her throat. He was breathing heavily. When he realised the position, he blushed as he quickly got off. "I-I'm s-so sorry I-I didn't m-mean t-to I swear!" He spoke as San rolled her eyes as she got up.

San grabbed Y/n by his shirt and kissed him. His eyes widened as he slowly melted into the kiss.
When San pulled away, she licked her lips. "You talk too much, Y/n/n." Y/n blushed many shades of red and San kissed him again; needing to feel his touch.

Needless to say, Y/n and San got closer than ever; as they both were now in love.
