It is a new semester at the school and I heard that there is a new girl named Kayla enrolling here! I'm so excited. I would love it if she joined my little band of friends.
She has the locker right below mine! We could become really great friends! She is in all if my classes and her name is indeed Kayla!
This afternoon I was walking down the hall with Nate when he stopped me to talk. It was Study Hall so we could walk around if we were responsible enough.
Nate had said something like
"She was homeschooled before she came here, I'm not sure if you want to be here friend!"
" Nate, you can't judge a book by its cover!!!" I said as a rapid response.
" I know Rebecca, but you can't estimate that someone is nice by just looking at them either!" Nate answered.
I was determined to be-friend Kayla before anyone else. So, I invited her to sit with us at lunch! Nate wasn't so sure it was a good idea. I convinced him that it would be fine.
A few minutes after we sat down, we asked Kayla some questions. She was so darling, smart, and gorgeous! She had an older brother, and a little sister. She was one of the nicest people I had ever met!
