"Hyuck!"

"No, it's not—"

"Hyuckie!"

"Fine, you win," Haechan uttered as he picked up his two-year-old daughter. He couldn't bear to be petty against his own child. "But next time call me—"

"Hyuckie!"

Haechan moved his head away from her and stared at me as I watched him from a couple of steps away. He was on his last nerve trying to teach her to call him 'dad' or 'papa' but she refused. She had grown fond of calling him "Hyuck" or "Hyuckie" to the point that Haechan eventually gave up.

"Shall we meet your uncles?", I got up from the chair and traveled to the father and daughter duo.

"I don't want to see Uncle Shortie," the little girl in Haechan's arms sassed as she folded her arms. "He lied to me!"

"Uncle Shortie?", I questioned, looking over to Haechan who was holding back his laugh. I couldn't quite understand the two of the same personality. "Who's that?"

"Renjun," Haechan burst out laughing. She really was his daughter. "Haeyoung wanted Renjun to give her a piggyback ride when I met up with him. He said he will but ran off without saying another word when she wasn't looking."

"I like Uncle Beanstalk," Haeyoung innocently beamed almost instantly. "Uncle Beanstalk is fun to tease."

"Poor Jisung," I muttered, remembering the times where Haeyoung basically choked him from behind when she was on his back. "He's never escaping this."

"Anyway, my princess," Haechan cutely called his daughter who had a cheeky smile on her face which resembled him. "Let's go to the uncles' apartment to celebrate your third birthday."

"Don't invite Uncle Shortie!", she pouted and showed her best puppy eyes to Haechan. "He's a liar!"

"Uncle Shortie will be there because he lives there," Haechan explained delicately to her and put her down. She had her arms folded the entire time. "If you don't invite him, then mommy and I won't take you to the amusement park later."

The change in Haeyoung's expression was instantaneous. Her upset eyes turned soft and her lips were forming a frown. As much as Haechan loved giving her lots of love, he had to be strict at times.

"Fine, I'll invite Uncle Shortie," the soon-to-be three-year-old lowered her pride as she desperately wanted to go to the amusement park.

"Now, you should pick out your clothes while your mommy and I talk," Haechan smiled as he patted his daughter's head. She grinned and ran towards her room excitedly.

"She definitely got your personality," I commented and sat on the couch. Haeyoung physically looked more like me, but her personality was definitely from her father. Haechan hopped over to the couch and sat beside me, wrapping his arm around my waist.
