Chapter 1

I was in the airport to fly to Australia. I was the foreign exchange student at are school. I was really shy but when I get to know you I'm really fun to be around. I'm a straight A student and a junior. I put my minty green beats on and sat in my seat some annoying man sat next to me trying to talk to me every 5 seconds but I think he got the hint when I put my head phones on I tried to look nice so when the Hemmings family saw me for the first time they wouldn't think I'm a slob I had on leggings and a v neck I braided my hair to the side. I soon fell asleep the man next to my woke me up which made my jump "we're here" he said pointing out the window "wow it's beautiful" I said looking at the sights below me. When the plane landed I grabbed my book bag putting it over my shoulders then finding my suitcases i looked around to see a sign with my name on it when I saw the sign that said my name I put on a smile and walked over "hi I'm becca" I said to the lady "nice to meet you becca I'm Liz" she said pulling my into a hug "come on let's go I have a lot for you to see" she said grabbing my bags i followed her to her car I sat my stuff in the back seat. We had small talk the way to her house mostly about me and what I do she told me a little about herself like she is math teacher we pulled into a drive way to a nice house "we're here" she said with a huge smile I grabbed my bags and followed her inside "hi luke hi calum" she said "hi mom" one of the boys said "hi liz" the other one said she smiles and shacks her head as the boy sat on the couch playing a Video game "becca I'll show you your room" as she said that the boys head spun around fast Liz laughs as the boys smile at me she grabs on of my bags as I grabbed the rest I dragged them up the stairs into a room "this is your room" she said it was a nice room a full size bed and a nice sized closet a dresser with a mirror on it and a little desk "thank you" I said as she left, I kept the door open I plugged in my almost died IPhone and started to unpack the two boys came up stairs and walked into a room right next to mine not going to lie they were pretty attractive I heard load music from there room it didn't really bother me because I listen to the same music. I finished unpacking "dinners ready" Liz yelled from down the stairs the boys ran down stairs as I followed them I sat next to Liz, luke sat uncrossed from me and next to calum. Luke and calum filled there plate with pasta and garlic bread. Liz let me go before her I put a little on my plate with one piece of garlic bread Liz made her plate they talked about school I nodded along to insure them I was paying attention "becca I heard your a high honor student" Liz said to me "yeah" I said and smiled luke smile and chucked a little "it was a wonderful dinner Liz but I have to go I have a movie night with jesse" calum said pushing his chair in hugged her goodbye "see ya luke" he said and waved to me I smiled and waved "dinner was amazing thank you" I said getting up "no problem darling" Liz said "I'm going to go get cleaned up" I said and smiled "okay" she said I walked to my room I had my own bathroom in my room. I walk into the bathroom part of my room and shut the door behind me I took off my clothes I turned on the water to feel the hot water fall on my back I shampooed and conditioned my hair and washed my body before turning off the water and dried off I put on shorts and a baggy band tee and braided my hair to the side I wiped off the rest of my makeup that was now all down my face and walked out I unplugged my phone and went to say goodnight as I walked down the stair Liz was telling Luke to wash the dishes "I'm going to go to bed goodnight" I said "ohh good night sweetie" Liz said pulling me into a hug Luke just laughs looking at us as he washed a dish he was almost done. "Good night" I said to luke "good night" he said as I walked up the stairs I laid in bed and checked my Instagram I kept the door cracked the door open slowly to see Luke's head popping in "thought you were sleeping" he said and laughs "just checking my phone" i said sitting up. "Thought I should properly introduce myself" he said "you know you can come in you don't have to stand in the door way" I said while smiling he laughs an walks in and sits at the end of the bed it was kinda awkward "your name is becca right" he said "yeah" I said "just making sure I'm luke" he said "I know" I said it was now really awkward "I better get to bed but before that" he said taking my phone from the bed i just watch him and looked at him "now you have my number" he said "thanks" I said and laugh "sleep well" he said "you too" I said he got up and shut the door he text me hey I laugh at all the emojis he put by his name and texted back we text for about and hour and then we fell asleep.
