I Will Always Be With You

Chapter 8

Samantha's POV

Today is Chay's birthday, and we planned a big party for him to night. I haven't told him, and I made Akhil, and everyone who was invited keep the secret. I walk into AGH and into the locker room. Putting my belongings away, I walk outside with only my phone.

As I walk, my phone vibrates and I look at it. Its a message from Chay, telling him to meet me in his office.

"Hi." I greet Chay as I open the door to his room and pop my head in.

He is sitting at his desk, typing away on his laptop. When he hears me, he looks up

"Morning Sam!" he says, beckoning me in.

I walk in and close the door behind me. As I walk towards him, he stands and walks towards me. We both meet in the middle, and he wraps his arms around me.

"Hi." he says.

"Hi." I reply.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Did you forget?" he asks after a while.

"Forget?" I ask. "Forget what?" I say, playing dumb.

"Nothing. Never mind."

"Oh, ok. Well, I have to go." I tell him, trying to pull out of his iron grip.

"Please stay." he begs, nuzzling his face into my neck.

I sigh and smile.

"I have to go." I repeat. "Or Chaitra will have my head."

"Hmm." he says as he kisses my neck slowly.

"Chay, someone might come in." I say, breathing heavily.

"Let them come." Chay moans.

"Chay, please."

He ignores me, and continues kissing me. He kisses up my jawline, and finally, places his lips on mine. The kiss immediately turns intense. He walks towards me, pushing me to the wall.

Suddenly, the door swings open. Chay immediately pulls away.

"Oh my god, I did not just see that." Akhil says, walking in.

I look down and blush bright red.

"Shut up idiot." Chay says, throwing a plastic bottle at him.

Akhil manages to catch it before it hit his face.

"Woah, chill around the face man! This is the money!" he exclaims.

"Ego-maniac." Chay says.

"Yea, says the guy whose ego revolves around him like wifi." Akhil retorts back.

I roll my eyes at their childish bickering.

"If you two boys are done bickering, I'm gonna go." I say.

Chay makes to grab my hand, but I dodge him and walk out, giving him a wicked smile as I leave.

I called Chay and told him to pick me up. About twenty minutes later, he is in front of my house. I get into the car.

"Where to m'lady?" he asks.

"Our Palace Banquet Hall." I say.

"Why there?"

"Just go. It's a surprise party for my friend's birthday."

"You remember everyone's birthday but mine." I hear him mutter quietly under his breath.

I feel a smile on my face, and immediately cover it up.
