"Annayya." Akhil walks into the room, and I let out the breath I was holding in.
"What do you need Akhil?" I ask.
"Nothing. I heard you and vadina talking." he says.
I look at Sam to see her expression, and see her blushing hardly.

I smile at how cute she looks.
Samantha's POV
I look down, blushing so much when Akhil, Chaitanya's brother, addressed me as vadina.
"Uh-sir. I'll go now." I say quietly.
"Sam-" Chay starts, but Akhil interrupts him.
"Vadina wait." Akhil says.
I stop and turn around.
"Please stop calling me that. It isn't gonna happen anyways." I say.
"Vadinaaa." he says again.
"Akhil garu please." I say again.
"Ayyo. Vadina, sit." he says.
"No I-" I start, but he shakes his head.
"No. Vadina sit." he insists.
I walk over to the chair and sit down.
"Good. Now, annayya, you also sit." he says to Chay.
"Akhi-" Chay starts to say, but Akhil cuts him off as well.
"Shh and listen to your younger brother for once." Akhil says.
I chuckle.
"What's so funny vadina?" Akhil asks, raising his eyebrow.
"Nothing Akhil, you are so adorable." I reply.
"Hmm...not something I would want to hear from my vadina...but ok." he says, raising his eyebrows.
"Ok, if you are done flirting with your vadina, start talking before I call security and make them throw you out." Chay threatens.
"Wow wow wow!" Akhil says. "Chill bro."
Chay just rolls his eyes.
Akhil turns to me.
"Vadina, my parents will not have a problem in having our Chay marry you. In fact, their's is a love marriage, so why will they object to your love? They believe that love is needed for marriage, they don't care about caste or religion." he says.
"Akhil, my parents won't agree for inter-caste marriage." I say.
"Ayyo. Vadina, I will have amma(mom) and nanna(dad) talk to them." Akhil says.
"But-" I start, but he interrupts me.
"No buts Vadina. You and Anna are getting married. I said it, it is final." he insists.
I blush at the word marriage.
"Ok?" Akhil says.
"Hmm." I nod.
"Good." he says. "Know, vadina, I need help."
"Help?" I ask.
"Yes. Anna, go out." he says to Chay.
"Why?" Chay asks, confused.
"Because, this is a private conversation you shouldn't hear." Akhil says.
Chay gives him a you've got to be kidding me look.
"This is my room." he says.
"Go Chay." I say to him.
Chay rolls his eyes in frustration.
"Ugh. Fine."
He gets up and walks out, closing the door behind him.
"Ok. Vadina, I like a girl. But I still haven't proposed to her. I don't know what to do." he says all in one breath.
"Wow. Calm down Akhil." I say. "Ok, so you want to propose to a girl?" I ask.
He nods yes.
"Ok. First, do you know if the girl likes you?" I ask.
He shrugs. "I don't know vadina." he answers.
"Do you talk?" I ask.
"Yes. She is one of my best friends." he replies.
"Akhil, that is perfect. You should ask her then." I say.
"But, she doesn't believe in love vadina."
"Oh..." I trail off, thinking. "I'll talk to her once." I say after some time.
"But won't she suspect?" he asks.
"I have a plan." I say. "Show me a picture of her."
He pulls out his phone and shows me a picture.

"Hmm. The girl's pretty." I say.
He smiles, looking down.
"And you two are a perfect match."
Akhil blushes deeply, making me smile.
"Huh huh! Shy huh?" I tease him.
