Chapter 39- Truth

Kaya POV:-

I reached the address and when I looked at the villa. I am shocked. I mean, his parents gave him good manners.
I know the rich boys. They are way too arrogant, egoistic persons, not respecting elders.

I come towards the door, and a guard stopped me.

" Mam, why are you here? Do you have an appointment? " He asked.

" No, my daughter is here, and a boy called me and, tell this villa's address. " I said and showed him that page where I noted the address.

" Yes, you are right. Wait, I'll ask from the inside," the guard replied.

" Okay! " I replied, and he fo to the guard room and called inside in the landline number.

He said something. But I couldn't hear a thing. So, I wait.

He comes out from the guard room and, said " Yes, mam, you can come. I'm sorry for your wait. " He replied and bow to me.

"No, please don't bow in front of me," I replied, and he smiled.

I enter from the gate and start walking. I see a beautiful garden with lots of types of flowers, like (red, blue, yellow, pink) color roses, sunflower, hibiscus, etc.

I enter the hall and what I saw shocked me to the core.

Raj and Rajshree sat on a sofa, and that boy who helped me at that party sits on another. They are discussing Teja.

I cleared my throat, and they turned their face towards me and were shocked.

" Raj, you? Rajshree, you are Raj's wife? Is he your son? " I asked.

" Yes, Kaya, this is Rajshree, my wife. He is Tanish, my son." Raj said with a smile, and I was shocked.

" Oh, god, I can't believe it. Is this fate? " I asked.

" Maybe. " Rajshree replied.

" WOW!!!! " I said.

" Raj, why did you break contact with us. Laxmi( Teja's biological dad) always talked about you. He loved you as his best friend. You didn't even come to his funeral( as Hindu culture). Why??? " I asked.

" I will tell you everything. Can you please sit? " He said, and others are looking at us with confusion. I sit on the sofa with Tanish. I know my daughter is safe. But I want answers.

" Kaya, I know you want to meet my wife because I told you everything about her. I went to America when he died. I come back after two years. I came to know about him after five years. I was ashamed. " He explained.

"That's true, Kaya. I didn't know that it was you who he is always talking about him." Rajshree said.

" He talked about you both whenever he got a chance. Raj loves him a lot. he found out about his accident. I never saw him this broken. When I saw him that day, Raj was ashamed he would not help you in those difficult times. We found out your parents married you to his younger brother because of your children after 12 days from his death. We know how your shop robbed and everything you lost. How you took money from thugs and gave them the triple amount. " She explained, and I felt a tear fall from my eyes. I still can't forget my worst days.

Her words hit me like a train.

" Forget about it. It's past. Tell me about my daughter. " I said. But before someone replies to me. We hear a scream that belongs to Teja.

" Teja, what happened to her? Where is her room? Take me. " I requested, and Tanish started to show me his room.

Teja is sobbing and scared when we reached. She stands at the side of a window.
She had worn a red color skirt which suits her a lot. It is off-shoulder but covers her everything and reaches to her knees. She is shivering a lot. She is trembling, and she took support from the window. Her hairs are freely moving because of the wind.

She is about to fall, but Tanish holds her from her waist, and I am shocked. He is looking at her with care, worry, anger, admiration,......love, and last but not least with lust.

I come to my senses.
I went in front of her and took her from him.
He is looking sad. But I don't care about him.

" Mom!! " She said in a low shivering voice.

" Yes, dear, I'm here. Don't worry. Rest. " I said and, take jer to the bed.

She laid down on the bed. " Sleep dear. I will take you home when you take a nap. You are week right now." I said, and she slept.

" Kaya, can we talk? " Rajshree said, and I nodded.

" Tanish, can you please sit beside Teja, please? " Raj asked.

I understood that he wants us to talk. I nodded and warned him.

" Take care of her carefully or else. " I warned and left.

He took us to another room and opened it.

We enter the inside and found out it is Raj's study room.

" Are you guys so rich? " I asked, and they smiled proudly.

" We are. I think you don't read newspapers. That's why neither you nor your daughter about us. " Raj replied.

" So, you are the one who gave us money. Right? " I asked, and he was ashamed.

" Yes, I am sorry. But I want to check and, at that time, I didn't know Teja is your daughter. After reading her file, I found out. " He replied and, I look at him confused.

They both faces turned pale, and I understood that they both checked her background.

I made a cold, sour face, and they smile awkwardly.

" Does she having nightmares of 6 years ago? " Raj asked, and I turned pale.

" How?? " I asked.

" Kaya, I was that man who saved her that day. Even I was the one who appointed that psychiatrist. " He confessed, and I turned pale.

" Did you even know what happened? " I asked.

" Yes, I knew everything. I know Nirbhik doesn't take care of you and your daughter. I know you are suffering with them because of your children. Your daughter suffers because of their success. She wants to achieve something. So that they can give you a better life and help you to divorce him. I know he is a man whore. He has a lot of affairs with different girls. " He explained.

" Then, why are you telling me this? " I asked.

" I'll take care of everything for your daughter's education. I give you money. But, you have to keep it a secret. " He said, and his words made my blood boil.

" Do we look beggers to you? We have pride. How can you say this to us? Sorry, Raj, just because you are my ex-husband's best friend, I won't kill you. But, don't ever say this to us. " I questioned and warned him.

" How can you both mother-daughter duo be so stubborn? " He yelled and sighed in frustration.

" Look, I am not looking at you as beggars. I want to give them a secure life. " He said.

" No, Raj, I'm sorry. But I will never take your money, Even if it is for my daughters. " I yelled.

" Can you both calm down? " Rajshree asked, and I forgot her presence here.

" You both sit down," she said, and I realized we stood up from our seats.

We sit back, and she gives me a glass of water, and I took it gladly. I drink it in a gulp.

" Raj, this is not my place to decide. It is my daughter's choice, If they want your help or not. " I said calmly.

" Okay, then, your daughter is to decide when the time comes. Alright? " He asked, and I nodded in agreement.

" Can you please not tell her about her helper? " He asked, and I nodded.

" Of course not because she will not able to see you in eyes. She knew it was not her fault. But her shame kills her if she found out about this truth. " I said.

" I want a request about something. Tell your son to stay away from Teja. I know he likes her. But they are too little for these things. " I said.

" Sorry, but we permitted him to chase your daughter. " Rajshree said, and I look at them wide-eyed.

" Why? " I asked.

" We love your daughter. She is perfect to become our daughter-in-law. She is the only one who can change our son. He is a man whore too. Since your daughter comes to his life. He changed. He is not doing one night stand anymore. He is not going to the club. Everything changed about him. He becomes a good boy. He respects us a lot but not others. But he is respecting everyone. " Raj explained, and I was shocked.

" Really?? " I asked.

" Yes," They replied.

" Should I give him a chance? " I thought and, look at them. I know what I should do now.
